I totally agree, and it's the reason OA/OS isn't seen as a viable option in the UK - radio just don't latch on quick enough and instead playlist it when it's halfway down the chart and has no impact.

It's true they could easily just add OAOS releases to the point in the playlist where they'll peak, esp for post album release singles. But they like a slow build up!

 

It's sort of silly because radio 1 pride themselves in finding new music and the majority of it is of the indie variety which starts life a lot of the time as a Annie Mac hottest record which are nearly all OAOS these days anyway.

That won't happen now, they do it before something is on the playlist or when it's first on the C list.

Before I heard this I thought "oh no, 'Show Me Love' really doesn't need covering AGAIN... :unsure:" but on listening to it, it's actually a pretty decent version, very different from the original. I can see it being a decent sized hit too. How well has it done in other territories? I would imagine it's been big in Europe?
