Didn't think too much of that 'Tuesday' track, heard Greg play is last night.

 

Not all TOTD tend to make the playlist, it's a good way of trying them out with the audience before adding them.

Hope they do give the Wombats support even if it's just like Klaxons/Kooks last year for 2/3 singles. The new track is impressive and Zane Lowe has given them a lot of plays and an interview etc. in saying that he also played the new Noël Gallagher track in his show lastnyt so it's hard to tell if that will convert into daytime playlisting.

 

The New Years & Years track is Brillant - it could hit No1 or at least top 10 as I'm sure they'll A list it before release.

Yeah, if they were gonna playlist her, they would have done a few weeks ago. I'll eat my hat if they add her today.

Yeah, Radio 1 would never have gone for this. It was always going to be a commercial radio situation.

Yeh I was just using him as an example of a band/artists Zane Lowe plays in his evening show that doesn't necessarily convert to daytime playlist support. Others inc Interpol, Aphex Twin and other generally older classic acts that usually end up playlisted on 6 music.

We've "known" the title of Dr.Dre's new album for over a decade :lol:

 

Most artists are a bit more reliable than Dr. Dre though :P
