Idina Menzel with the ultimate love/hate song, #2 on the Buzzjack 2014 hate chart and now #4 on Fave T20, which was very unlucky to miss the top 10, going to #11 THREE times and spending sixteen weeks in the top 20 which I think is a record for a non-top 10 hit. Anyway it would have been #3 here if it weren't for the NINE sets of -2s. Congrats h8rz we did it :cheer: Need I explain for the hundredth time why I hate this song anyway? I'm sure you all know.

 

Well at least we're saved the embarrassment of a (to-be) top 3 hit answering 'what should've gone top 10?'. Of course Hozier didn't enter the top 10 until 2015 though, proving himself to be a really slow burner of a hit and basically following the chart run of Thinking Out Loud, possibly without it going to #1 but it's very likely to spend ages in the top 10. I'm not a huge fan of the song or his voice but with its interesting lyrics and it's uniqueness in terms of chart smashes, it's not surprising to see it high in this competition.

Woop Idina not winning (not that I expected her to with G.R.L in the mix but still). Pleasing to see Hozier so near the top as well even if the song is now a top 10 hit.

One of the few tracks to score high in the HATE chart and the 'positive' charts :lol:

 

Hozier, lol at him being #3 even though he's going to reach #3 this Sunday :lol:

 

I predict BREAK FREE as #1 but G.R.L. is a really great track but like Ariana's more :wub:

 

I think I read somewhere it will get a proper release (or re-release if it has already :lol:)

Ariana doesn't keep up the tradition of Fave T20 winners starting with the letter 'A', instead settling for #2 with her dance effort 'Break Free', which I actually prefer 'Problem' to, but nonetheless it is a great song. Sadly its instant grat release strategy ruined its chances of going top 10, but she made up for it with a lengthy chart run.

 

It's not even close as G.R.L win by 80 points with Ugly Heart, which went to #6 on sales but unfortunately missed out on the top 10 because of streaming (which would ironically really help it later in its run). It's a good girlband song so it's no surprise that Buzzjack really took to this. Whether they can get another hit as big as this remains to be seen, but 'Lighthouse' sounds like a smash. If anyone is going to be the next big girlband, it won't be Fifth Harmony, it'll be these girls. WD.

thank god the incredibly bland(e) & overrated Break Free didn't come out on top :D a pretty obvious top 2 but still Ugly Heart is a good winner~

Absolute perfect result. Pop music at its finest and it missing the top 10 was a huge travesty :(

'Ugly Heart' was a song I disliked initially, but it big time grew in my affections. Of course it is tinged with sadness though. :(
