Hopefully second time lucky. Avicii is increasing fast, but hopefully Noel Gallagher and Fall Out Boy both dropping out soon should allow them both to enter the top 10.

I didn't think to question who cancelled the release but the reason was mentioned earlier. I assume it's usually the artist if the reason isn't copyright/ etc.

 

The Days was cancelled here because it was getting literally no hype or radio play, so after a few weeks they decided to not bother releasing it and took the pre-order off iTunes.

I actually agree with you 100%.

I just remember the media began to realise that The Days was to be released on the same day as These Days - Take That vs Robbie etc and then suddenly it all went quiet

 

Looking forward to the album, although agree that The Nights is a bit all over the place

Can we drop the discussion on "The Days" - it was an awful piece of music from Avicii, I for one am glad the release was 'cancelled'; though its annoying stream-only charting in the UK will forever serve to confuse people.

The success of 'The Nights' is very odd, it doesn't seem to have much more going for it than 'The Days' ever did. Did people really just hate 'The Days' en masse?

It's Avicii, of course it's crap. The only good songs he's put out are Lay Me Down and Addicted To You.
