'Peter Kay's Car Share' has held up well!

lol at 'The Delivery Man'! Although I'm not laughing as much over 'Big Brother', the second episode and it's already down to 1.1m. :(

I think that's the trouble. People have watched it once and not laughed.

big brother on its way to getting axed oops

(no big loss, nothing's convinced me to watch it)

Renewed until 2017, bye x

It wasn't that long ago it was last axed, was it? Before they changed their minds the following year and stuck it on a different channel or something.

I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped the civilian series and just did the two Celebrity versions. They always do really well (especially the January series).

I think that might be a possibility but, if they did, they might add another celebrity series in as I guess it's quite expensive to keep the house just for 7/8 weeks of TV.

Best EastEnders rating since 24th March :cheer: Hopefully it can keep close to Corrie after next week's BGT week episodes.

I think it could take a couple of weeks as Corrie will still be riding on the success of BGT week the following week whilst Eastenders may have lower than usual ratings following the ~5m it will probably be getting in BGT week. After that though, hopefully they can keep close again. At least this year, there's not going to be too much that will dent Eastenders ratings over the summer, as opposed to last year when it was BGT live shows followed by World Cup, Wimbledon, Emmerdale clashes and the move to BBC 2 during the Commonwealth Games which gave the show 3 months of horrific ratings.

Newzoids somewhat stabilized around the 1.5m mark by the end then. I can't see it being renewed, (unless as others have suggested it's moved into a post-news slot), which is a shame, as it was better than it could have been, and incredibly sharp and biting whenever it needed to be.

From the couple of episodes I saw, it seemed to focus a lot on the election which is probably what a lot of people liked about it. They could still take the mick out of politicians but it may lose its appeal without the heightened emotion of the election.

I think it would get a similar audience - and, therefore, a better audience share - at 10.30.

OTOH, I think we can assume that The Delivery Man will be allowed to die a slow death.
