Good to see no-one gives a when it comes to the rugby matches England aren't playing - I don't think there's any England matches at the same time as Eastenders for the time being so, as Thursday's ratings proved, EE won't be affected. :D Just got the annoying hour-longs of Emmerdale.

Great figure for Bake Off! Can't wait to see the rating for the final next week - 12.29m in the overnights last year were roughly 4m above the normal ratings so it would be incredible if it could hit 14m this year, although maybe I'm getting ahead of myself!

Another great rating for Doctor Foster - just short of a series high itself.

Relieved that the figures for Doctor Who didn't decrease by anymore (in fact it's a tiny increase of 30,000). England being knocked out might be a blessing in disguise by helping the ratings now. :kink:

Great ratings for Strictly and England given they clashed - the former peaked at just under 9m and the latter at just under 11m!

With England being knocked out, I can't see the rugby having much effect on any shows it clashes with, apart from perhaps the semi and final, given the non-England games have only been getting 3m.

Amazing for the Bake-Off, having over half of the share is fantastic! Really great figure and boost for the finale of Doctor Foster too, very well deserved!

Wow at those ratings for GBBO and Doctor Foster!

I love the fact that someone at the BBC decided to put Doctor Foster on after Bake Off as its had great figures throughout its run!

A 55% audience share in peak time in these multi-channel days is extraordinary :o The fact that the programme showed three people making cakes makes it even more bizarre. Now we have the long wait for Bake Off 2016 :(

This is what I have for shows that managed 10m+ in the overnight ratings this year:

Over/Share/Peak/Date/Show

01. The Great British Bake Off (13.4m/54.8%/14.5m) Wednesday 7th October

02. Britain's Got Talent (11.37m/46.6%/13.4m) Sunday 31st May

03. Eastenders (10.84m/44.7%/11.9m) Thursday 19th February

04. Eastenders 10.3m/41.8%/11.2m) Thursday 19th February

05. The Great British Bake Off (10.21m/43.8%/10.79m) Wednesday 30th September

06. The Great British Bake Off (10.06m/44%/N/A) Wednesday 19th August

13.4m is just astonishing, cannot wait for the 7-day data figures! I too am thrilled it boosted Doctor Foster so much, brilliant scheduling from the BBC! :D
