January 20, 201510 yr I think it's utterly ridiculous, be it for a UK or a US show (I can kind of understand with US shows given TV channels here buy the rights to air them and they wouldn't want DVD's on sale before they air them), but for an industry so concerned with piracy they sure do make it easy to see why it's so rampant.
January 20, 201510 yr I agree. 'Game of Thrones' is the main one for me, Season 4 is only released in February which is 8 months since it finished. For a show that's surrounded in shocking moments and therefore easy spoilers, it's surprising that they don't release the DVDs earlier as people want to view the episodes as quick as possible meaning that piracy is going to be a likely option.
February 13, 201510 yr Author Fortitude will be released on DVD on 11 May 2015. Pushed back to 1 June 2015. ITV's 'Cockroaches' will be released on 23 February.
February 15, 201510 yr what a waste of dvd space. releasing the final episode of maranda (an hour at most) on it's own dvd? why not just put it on the end of series 3... can not wait for benidorm. i've only just got in to that show same for series 2 of broadchurch. didn't think i'd like it but it's okay
