And here is the song that you have saved from elimination (and it was 8th, only -1 behind 6th)

Cher Lloyd - Sirens

This received 7 saves (out of a possible 40, since 20 people voted). It received two saves from Ultraviolence1989 and jafetsigfinns, and 1 save from Taylor Jago, Liam and Jonjo. On the flip side, here are its negative votes:

  • Dobbo (-3)
  • Dan (-1)
  • RobinJuanPersie (-5)
  • fchd (-6)
  • Nick F1 (-4)

Which is a total of -19.

Now, as you probably worked out by the fact this came 8th but only -1 behind 6th, 6th and 7th are tied (with -20)

But more on that later.

Out of the 31 songs you were voting against, only 2 managed to not received a single minus point by anyone.

Andy C & Fiora - Heartbeat Loud

Saves: 1 (from James1987)

DJ Fresh feat. Ellie Goulding - Flashlight

Saves: 2 (from Dobbo and Taylor Jago)

So congratulations to both Heartbeat Loud and Flashlight! I personally love both, so I'm pleased for them.

#31: The Independants - UKIP Calypso

Points: -76

Finishing dead last, and deservedly too, the UKIP Calypso earned -76 points. The worst score possible, -6 times 20 (the number of people who voted), is -120. So UKIP Calypso earned 63.33% of the maximum possible number of points.

Anyway, I'm very pleased that this is out. One of the worst and most ridiculous songs I have heard. Seriously, does Nigel Farage actually want to be Prime Minister or not? I don't think we can actually take him seriously after this. Anyway, here is all the votes:

  • SevenSeize (-3)
  • Taylor Jago (-6)
  • Ultraviolence1989 (-6)
  • ibré! (-6)
  • Liam (-6)
  • Dan (-6)
  • RobinJuanPersie (-6)
  • harryflynn0908 (-4)
  • Blank Slayberry (-6)
  • jafetsigfinns (-4)
  • FleetSeb (-6)
  • fchd (-3)
  • Nick F1 (-3)
  • Jonjo (-5)
  • Josh. (-6)

Nine people out of the 20 people who voted gave this -6. That's 45% of the voters, or almost half. 6 others voted for it, which means 15 people voted for this. That's 3 quarters, or 75%, of the voters. So I think it's safe to say this very unpopular.

#30: Pitbull feat. John Ryan - Fireball

Points: -38

While much better than UKIP Calypso, streaming did a good deed by keeping this out of the top 40. Here are all the voters:

  • Dobbo (-2)
  • Taylor Jago (-4)
  • Liam (-4)
  • brokenrecords (-6)
  • harryflynn0908 (-2)
  • FleetSeb (-5)
  • Nick F1 (-5)
  • Jonjo (-6)
  • Jason (-4)

#29: Nicole Scherzinger - Run

Points: -32

A little slow, and not Nicole Scherzinger's best effort, but I'm slightly surprised it's been eliminated so soon. Here are all the voters:

  • Dobbo (-4)
  • SevenSeize (-5)
  • ibré! (-3)
  • Dan (-4)
  • harryflynn09098 (-6)
  • Blank Slayberry (-5)
  • fchd (-2)
  • Jason (-3)

#28: Kid Ink feat. Usher & Tinashe - Body Language

Points: -30

Kid Ink's second single, this has been hanging around the top 100 for quite some now. However, it's not very good. Also, Kid Ink seems poised to lose out on another top 40 with Hotel. Anyway, here are all the voters:

  • SevenSeize (-2)
  • Ultraviolence1989 (-1)
  • JosephJamil (-6)
  • brokenrecords (-5)
  • James1987 (-3)
  • FleetSeb (-3)
  • fchd (-5)
  • Jason (-5)

#27: The Mega Giants - Prayer In C

Points: -21

This was a fake version of Lilly Wood & The Prick "Prayer In C" (I couldn't find it on YouTube, so I put in the original) which entered the week before the original's release, then obviously disappeared the week Lilly Wood's version got to number one. I never heard the Mega Giants's version, but I absolutely HATE Prayer In C. Its success baffles me. It's basically the same thing (with some variatons) being repeated 24 times over. I mute it every time it comes on. Anyway, here are the voters:

  • Taylor Jago (-5)
  • ibré! (-4)
  • harryflynn0908 (-5)
  • Blank Slayberry (-4)
  • jafetsigfinns (-3)
  • Author

And we have a problem:

T.I. feat. Iggy Azalea - No Mediocre

Points: -20

Saves: 3

All the voters:

  • SevenSeize (-6)
  • Taylor Jago (-3)
  • brokenrecords (-4)
  • Josh. (-1)
  • Jason (-6)
One Direction - Ready To Run

Points: -20

Saves: 1

All the voters:

  • Ultraviolence1989 (-4)
  • Dan (-2)
  • RobinJuanPersie (-3)
  • darkstar79 (-5)
  • James1987 (-6)
(I imagine the people who voted are furious with themselves for not giving Ready To Run one point more)

Anyway, who will stay and who will go? It's your choice. The vote closes at 2:00pm. And if no one votes, I decide. No Mediocre VS Ready To Run.

Edited by Taylor Jago

To stay: No Mediocre

To go: Ready to Run

And here are the rest of the results:

  • Artist - Song
Points Saves8. One Direction - Where Do Broken Hearts Go? -19 19. Cher Lloyd - Sirens -19 710. Joss Stone feat. Jeff Beck - No Man's Land (Green Fields Of France) -17 111. Ed Sheeran - All Of The Stars -14 011. Naughty Boy feat. SAM ROMANS - Home -14 011. One Direction - 18 -14 014. Twin Atlantic - Brothers And Sisters -14 115. The 1975 - Medecine -13 116. The Script - It's Not Right For You -11 017. Henry Krinkle - Stay -9 518. Sander Van Doorn, Martin Garrix & DVBBS feat. Aleesia -8 119. Ferreck Dawn & Redondo - Love Too Deep -8 320. Clean Bandit feat. Stylo G - Come Over -7 021. Royal Blood - Figure It Out -6 022. Paolo Nutini - Iron Sky -6 123. Redlight - 9TS (90s Baby) -6 224. CHVRCHES - Get Away -5 225. George Ezra - Listen To The Man -6 326. Chris Malinchak feat. Mikky Ekko - Stranger -3 126. M.O. - Dance On My Own -3 128. Alex Clare - War Rages On -2 029. Hudson Taylor - Chasing Rubies -1 130. Andy C & Fiora - Heartbeat Loud 0 131. DJ Fresh feat. Ellie Goulding - Flashlight 0 2

Surely the tie-breaker should be which track had more saves which is No Mediocre?

Regardless I definitely vote for that to stay & the 1D track (whatever that is) to go.
