Yes, I know the song features will.i.am, but in a one off shock, he does not ruin the song. In fact he and Cheryl compliment each other perfectly on this wonderful song. Unfortunately nothing else they worked together on has lived up to this masterpieces and she was unable to shake him off for 3 whole albums.

It served as the follow-up single to her third album 'A Million Lights'. A great piece of pop, something Cheryl is getting quite good at. It sadly failed to make the official top 10 and with the imminent Girls Aloud reunion, the album campaign was yet again brought to a premature end.
January 22, 201510 yr Under the Sun is...nice, and it worked well as single #2, but I think it's a bit overrated. Mainly cause the backing vocals are too bloody loud!
January 22, 201510 yr Author 7. Waiting For Lightning 209 Quite a shock at #7 I feel! 'Waiting For Lightning' is an album track from Cheryl's latest opus 'Only Human'. It's much deserving of it's top 10 placing though, a clear highlight of her new album and would make a fabulous single I think.

January 22, 201510 yr Author 6. Call My Name 223 A complete SHOCK exit before the top 5 now, as 'Call My Name' bows out at #6. It served as the lead single from her third album and was also her third #1 solo single here in the UK. It also hit the top spot in Ireland. A departure from her more poppy urban sound, 'Call My Name' is a dance anthem produced by man of the moment Calvin Harris (who once said Girls Aloud were shit :)) This wasn't even particularly close to making the top 5, despite topping 2 charts, both by my fellow co-mods :drama:

Fight For This Love 244 Well it made the top 5 but Cheryl's debut and signature track fails to win her Buzzchart 2015. Released at the height of her fame and popularity, the track went on to be her first solo number 1 in the UK and Ireland, but also topping the charts in Denmark and Norway too, with top 5's in Austria, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland and Ukraine! It has sold over a million copies here at home, making it the most successful Girls Aloud related release ever.

Promise This 246 At #4 is the lead single from 'Messy Little Raindrops'. Her big comeback single after her serious illness with malaria, 'Promise This' is a feisty pop tune perfect for Cheryl. It even has some French in there, the future Mr. Cheryl would be so proud!! I'm really pleased this has managed a good position in this chart, I feel it's rather forgotten by the general public. A grand return to feisty uptempo pop, the song made Cheryl a record breaker when it became her fifth solo UK number 1 single. Sadly its chart run was short lived and made a quick exit from the top 40. :( For me, it's by far her best single so far, more pop please Cheryl!!
