Poor Martin  Although Sonia and Tina getting together is a surprise to absolutely no one!

Andrew Sachs' character was brilliant today. I'm loving his and Stan's banter!

I can't be the only one enjoying these episodes with the older cast. The moment when Cyril died was a bit random, but Aunt Babe vs. Cora was iconic!
These past few weeks have been very quiet but I did enjoy tonight's episode, mainly because it gave the older cast a chance to shine. I'd much rather see them have more airtime than the Kush/Shabnam and Tina/Sonia/Martin storylines.

I loved it tonight. Babe is a very Tragic character :( i felt so sorry for her.

I know! I just wanted to give her a cuddle!

Just be careful she doesn't do this:

Martin is a dreadful actor ahaha

Poor Babe :(

I really enjoyed tonight/last night, Stan, Cora and especially Babe are amazing! It was good to see a lot of Stan and Cora without the rest of the overexposed Carters (as much I do like them all, don't get me wrong) all being shoehorned in randomly.

I was going to say the same thing, I really enjoyed tonight's episode with Stan, Babe and Cora and I completely agree that the other stories last night didn't come close and felt uneccessary

This is why I love EE as they give the older characters a mix of comedy and drama but on Corrie I can't remember the last 'big' storyline to feature the older cast which is a shame

Andrew Sachs was brilliant he added the comedy banter, when he dropped his food, and saw him lying there, that freaked me out a bit, never really expected that to happen.

It's a shame they're going to be losing Timothy West from the older cast. At least DTC has really built up in the older lot though in the past year - Les, Pam, Aunt Babe, Sylvie and Stan were all amazing additions. And he's also given Dot and Patrick a great storylines; it's just a shame they haven't featured Patrick's stroke massively.

So that's another connection for Claudette! I kinda thought that was coming

Martin really needs to take his clothes off tbh.

Still waiting for Andy in Corrie and he's even hotter, be patient ;_;

Martin's had a personality transplant... he was a drip before, and now, he has opinions. GOSH.

Absolutely loving Donna, Cora, Stan & Sonia at the moment.

Donna is really coming into her own and we're only just scratching the surface, hopefully she shines even more as we get to delve into more of her backstory. I wish they'd done this earlier, as it almost feels like the character was a bit of a non-starter... But then I think it works this way, we were made to dislike her initially which makes her seem like she's really shining a lot more later.

I did not see Claudette being Donna's foster mum though! :o I bet Les couldn't wait to see her mum again ;)
