I've thought for a few weeks the Jane was indirectly involved (since she hid the phone under the floorboards), but wasn't sure if she was covering for Peter or Cindy. I agree with everyone else now that I think it's going to be Cindy - but maybe that's now becoming too obvious?

But Jane wouldn't cover for anyone but Cindy, Peter or Bobby surely?

Must be easier somehow to do the live eps at night than day?

Did y'all see the shots of London in the background?? Really made it seem more like the city and less like a random town.

Put a bet on Cindy.

Watch it be Denise :P

It HAS to be someone in the Beale household. Jane would easily cover up for best friend Denise no?

Well, unless you think everyone is going to go home and watch EastEnders in the middle of the day? This isn't Doctors.

BBC One's Twitter seems to confirm it was meant to be 'You Killed Lucy'

Very interesting but I'm guessing it's more the end result of the build up to them trying to suggest Abi is the killer. I think Abi might have met up with Lucy on the night, which Max saw and therefore thinks she killed her but obviously she didn't.

I still think Denise is involved somehow. Maybe Denise and Jane covering up for Cindy. We know Denise was in bed or at least preparing to go to bed and the spoiler pics show Lucy returned home (as confirmed by Lauren's card). Cindy might have had a bitchfight with Lucy over the music box or revealing her drug habit and accidentally knocked her out. Denise heard what happened and obviously with Cindy being pregnant, she decided to help cover up what happened.

She then went to Jane for help and the three of them went to Walford Common to dump the body. Hence, Emma's comment that 'it wasn't there' - she was referring to Jane's car being missing from its usual place in the video of Lauren. Therefore Emma met Jane and Jane explained everything that happened, hence I can't keep 'the' secret rather than your secret.

Detective April has solved the case :o

I've not been watching it properly over the last year, just keeping an eye on things. I watched the Good Friday episode and today's episode tonight and that does sound very plausible!

Might be why Denise said she'd do it for Jane as well when they were in the MinuteMart in tonights episode.

I bet I'll be completely wrong! I'm not sure how Max/Abi would tie into my theory though. There's definitely something which happened between Denise and Jane, because they're were acting a little odd last week too.

gREAT THEORY aPRIL!!

i also think it was CIndy buut Denise and Jane have to be involved somehow.

That sounds plausible April :o It would fit in, as I expect Denise does care about the kids as she's been a mother figure to them whilst she was with Ian and just because she didn't love him doesn't mean she won't still feel a connection with Bobby and even Cindy.

I am like 80% certain Cindy was the "actual" killer" and either/both of Denise/Jane helped her. There's no way a 15 year old could move an adult's body by themselves so one of them had to have helped.

If you go with the Denise and Jane both helped to cover up theory, it could also still be Bobby as both of them probably love him the most.

When Denise met Libby in the Good Friday episode, she only really mentioned how great Bobby was out of the children.

Richard Blackwoods character is maybe either

1. Someone Ronnie was dating whilst in Portugal with Peggy and Grant

2. The club owner or something from Ibiza?

Richard Blackwood's character is called Vincent btw - saw it mentioned on a Digital Spy article.

Of course. Well spotted from the Good Friday episode. I might have to hand over my detective position! ;) I don't know why, but I'd feel really cheated if Bobby did it.

Same, it would be pretty ridiculous, even if the story did somehow work.

I'm liking the theories here! But what about Lucy's blood in Jake's flat? Or did we get answers for that?

She got a nose bleed or a cut or something when she was asking him to design the LB Lettings website :P

I almost forgot to mention...Stacey and Martin are SO gonna get together! It's so obvious! I actually think they would be really good together.

Ah right! :P Very plausible!

Yeah, I thought that too! I don't remember them interacting when Martin used to be in it though so I don't know why he asked if she remembered him unless it was just an innocent comment.

Sorry to bring someone else up, but DS are speculating that Kathy Beale is what Phil needs to talk to Ian about! :o

Surely EE wouldn't be that daring to bring her back from the dead? Although I would absolutely love Kathy back!
