Passion Pit are teasing a new album to be released this year. Also, FMQB has confirmed that their first single, "Lifted Up (1985)", will impact US Alternative radios on February 17.

I really didn't get into their second that much, but their first album is a classic. I hope for more excellence.

"Take A Walk" was really good from the last album IIRC.

 

Anyway, nothing has quite matched up to my first listen of "The Reeling" (which I have on CD single) and they remain very much associated with that excellent year of music 2009 for me, but I am excited about new Passion Pit of course!

The song will go to US radio this Monday at 2:30pm. EST, according to Columbia's promo newsletter.
