Oh I thought they had died (or split up on a serious note). Why exactly did they leave it this long if they're bothering with a second single?! (Actually just checked and it's 'only' been 6 months since 'Hopeful' came out, which is still a pretty long time though it feels like like a year and 6 months).

They're not with Syco this time, presuming they only got signed to release Hopeful and it wasn't a long term thing, so they've had to work on new material and a way to release it since then I guess.

Ed Sheeran at 59p on iTunes and 19p on Google Play is just incredible timing though when you think about it, whoever's behind the handling of this release should really be proud. While I'm not a huge fan of the song myself, it's looking to quite easily become his biggest selling track to date.

 

I think I'd like Thinking Out Loud more if the beat was a bit more interesting. I understand its made with one eye on mainstream success but to me it just sounds pedestrian.

 

A good example of an interesting ballad is 'Cry Me a River', so much going on in that song.

That's why I love that Tiesto remix of All Of Me but I don't like the original anywhere near as much. If the original was this remix, then maybe, just a little maybe, it might possibly slightly deserve it's run :thinking: (OK maybe a big exaggeration there :lol:)

The remix is even worse than the original in my view

The Tiesto remix of All of Me totally strips any of the emotion out of it, I'm not big on it at all. The original is sublime :wub:
