So glad this is getting released - I didn't think they would given the long silence after "I Don't Care".

So according to The Sun the single version is actually going to "turn the ballad into a dancefloor hit"? That's interesting.

I'm so happy this is being released. I don't really care how well it does or if it goes Top10 or not. It just shows that she has not given up on her pop career or this album.

 

In fact I don't see how she could have moved on to another album, if she had not done anything to promote the Only Human album after the week it was released.

Good idea for her to remix it as I think the time has passed for a ballad release. Hoping for top 20!

It won't go top ten, It'll perform as well as 'Under The Sun' at best, but I think, if it gets decent promo it should shift some albums! :D

Single #3 - Only Human

Single #4 - I Don't Care

Single #5 - Throwback

My ideal era:

 

1. Crazy Stupid Love - released the weekend of the BGT performance, having premiered around 6 weeks before

2. I Don't Care - summer single

3. Only Human - November release with X Factor performance

4. Stars - late January release

5. It's About Time - late March/early April release

That's my thoughts exactly! I would just replace Stars with IAT and it woud be perfect for me.

Stars is so bad, Waiting For Lightning is the best track left as a non-single now but obviously it's too similar to Only Human so wouldn't/shouldn't be released now. I'd go for It's About Time maybe in the unlikely event we get a 4th single! I think she's chisen correctly so far, except I'd swap I Don't Care and Only Human for the latter to lead the album and sell it.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Coming Up For Air.

 

I personally think it would make a gorgeous single!

I think I won't break is perfect but probably not single material. So glad this is happening. Also a smart move turning the single into a dance tune so that all her fans who have bought the album buy the single as well.

Wait - is the single version going to be a 'dance single' ? It's fine as it is, and will probably sell more albums than if it's made into a 'dance song'
