It took three long years but at last, one of the greatest BJSC entries that never was, is ours! #NewLexico50

 

 

Kicking off the 6th New Lexican decade in style with what is probably the most 'me' song I've sent in a long time. From the really melodic strings to the women twirling around in dresses in a forest to the riverdance style breakdown and the melodic explosion in the chorus. Live by the sword or die by the sword, this is me *.*

This is amaze *.*

As hype builds in the streets of New Lexico, Celtic Woman gave a terrific performance of their current entry at the Lexico City arts centre.

 

 

Could the Irish beauties and their tiny German pixie be about to secure New Lexico their best placing in BJSC of all time?

 

Turning about face from the celtic camp to the 2k16 on trend eurotwink because we're what? Ecclectic!

Thanks to all who enabled New Lexico to avoid embarrassment last month, your continued support is much appreciated. 'Castaway' > 'Singles Out' >> 'Geiles Leben' >> 'Good As Hell' > 'Rainbow Sky'

 

I'm surprised you've sat on 'Castaway' for so long (I feel like it's been at LEAST 2 contests x), it's a very strong pop song and I think would have a good chance of being another hit for you! 'Singles Out' is very BEEN DONE BEFORE (I think it's Natalie La Rose it's reminding me of?) but still very enjoyable and another one that might do quite well actually. 'Geiles Leben' is quite good for a German language song, I think I remember quite liking 'Nie Vergessen' as well from them. 'Good As Hell' kinda gives me Mz. 007 teas but not quite as fabulous. And I feel like I should really HATE 'Rainbow Sky' but there's a kind of Lex-ish charm to it which makes it ok. Nothing really bad here.

This be my first 2017 BJSC entry. Just the right side of trend chasing while maintaining my usual New Lexican pop sensibilities. Get into it.

We present the NF songs for BJSC 95 while everyone else is occupied with the more important business of the results because New Lexicans are shady bitter queens at failing to qualify and also because choices. The theme is "new musical directions". If I've nicked your fave or picked something that's already been sent and bombed then I'm sorreh but since I've posted it in here if you decide to send it you'll look like a shady bitch so nyeh nyeh nyeh
