Posted February 2, 201510 yr I've been noticing that Love Me Harder has spent quite a few weeks in the top 100 without reaching the top 40  so I thought to look at how close she is at beating a record! :cheer: Most weeks on UK Singles Top 100 without reaching Top 40: 45 King - The King Is Here/The 900 Number (Pk : 60) (32 weeks) The King Is Here debuted at #100 on 11/03/1989 for two weeks, before re-entering on #100 () and peaking at #60 19 weeks later! She's being helped by streams as usual but the s/o run is still doing quite well  And  at TKIH's 3 weeks at #100!
February 2, 201510 yr how many top 100 weeks did 'Let It Go' (Demi Lovato) get then? 20 weeks top 75 with a #42 peak, it should be close to that record if not ahead (to answer the question Ariana has no chance of beating it)
February 2, 201510 yr Eva Cassidy "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" has more impressive 'weeks on chart without reaching the Top 40'. Date: 13/03/1999 - Run: 138-185 (2 wks) Re 01: 10/02/2001: 117-96-112-160-0-153-130-92-114-80-61-90-102-45-{42}-48-56-63-74-80-74-88-0-0-81-87-98-97-73-82 (27-17c wks, 29 wsf) Re 02: 20/10/2001: 145-187-0-0-176-196-139-164-183-155-178 (9-7c wks, 38 wsf) Re 03: 23/06/2007: 190 (1 wk) 39 weeks, though only 9 were Top 75.

Or, if a consecutive weeks in 41-100 w/o reaching top 40 is possible that would be  Edited February 2, 201510 yr by §þiŋŋiŋğ Åđɑм
February 3, 201510 yr We're comparing a 13 week #41-100 chart run to a 32 week one, she's not even close to overtaking that UK chart record; and even Demi Lovato's "Let It Go" is nearer. It's a shame "Love Me Harder" never went T40 really, but I wonder if it'll receive a big boost from something later in the year/in years to come that gives it a more deserving peak; fantastic collaboration.

No but as mentioned earlier I was thinking more of how close she is to nearing a recent record I.e Let It Go. However LMH's sales are nearly out of the top 100  And Bre, even in the unlikeliness she DOES get the record, what counts is she gets it at all :) since King could in possibility suddenly climb to top 40

February 3, 201510 yr Ariana Grande will probably start to fall fast now. Maybe another 3 more weeks? Streaming is the only thing holding her up now, it's left the top 100 on itunes so that won't be a big factor.

Well who knows? I've kept on seeing Money On My Mind about 50 places higher on combined than sales top 100, until January where obviously sales boosted...
February 10, 201510 yr You do realise that Photograph is still hanging around and has a chance of beating the record, right?

February 10, 201510 yr Author You do realise that Photograph is still hanging around and has a chance of beating the record, right? Although it has dropped out of the Top 75 this week Possibly, but at the moment Ariana never dropped out during her run, and is currently ahead with more weeks as well as being higher than Ed.
