Holly Valance has reportedly submitted a song according to ESC Forum! 'Kiss Kiss' would've been perfect 10 years ago. :D

'Kiss Kiss' couldn't have made it as its a cover but she could've shaken up the contest with 'State of Mind'. Even 'Down Boy' would've been interesting.

ESC Kaz reporting the entry will be announced on March 4th at 10pm UK Time!
Yaaasss, so excited/ready for disappointment :o (delete as appropriate)

The latest in "unsubstantial Eurovision rumours" 2015 is now The Veronicas with this

Like the UK, I doubt Australia will have gone for something that's already been released but if that is the one then I'm disappointed it's not the all conquering banger everyone wants it to be.

I think Australia being guests and loving so much, they'll go all out and actually have a new song, a huge song. I really like that song don't get me wrong but it would be underwhelming if it were to be that.

I have a feeling this announcement will either slay my very existence or disappoint me hugely, because of my expectations for an Aussie Eurovision entry

ESC Forum are running with that just because it is 3 minutes long and has been released in the UK this week - however I informed them that the UK release date had been planned since December, way before the Eurovision train got going. Plus they have a concert tomorrow night so won't even be in Australia anyway!

So the press conference is scheduled to begin at 10.30pm UK time tonight, live from the Sydney Opera House!

A web stream should appear here when the conference begins: http://www.sbs.com.au/programs/eurovision

Very excited, I have no idea what to expect from them!

Nice to see the efforts that they're going to :o

Really anticipating seeing what they have lined up.

Can't wait, although I highly doubt it will be anyone I want it to be as they're all tied up - Delta (The Voice), The Veronicas (UK press trip), Sheppard (US trip).
i agree with vulker, queen of music anna lunoe pls

what is Kylie doing today, anyway? :D

Really hope its someone amazing. Might have to stay awake for this tonight!
I am surprised nothing has leaked out about this. Can anyone send out a sniffer dog around the likes of Jessica Mauboy, Samantha Jade, Nat Bass, Guy Sebastian etc
I'm thinking it might be Tina Arena, she's big in French-speaking Europe. Possibly with a song called "Jettez encore une crevette sur le barbec".

Jess M is in SYD for Mardi Gras, has been in the studio recently and has been in dance rehearsals. Could be adding 2 + 2 + 2 and coming up with 190812857 but Jess wouldn't surprise me if she was the pick. She's pretty much the biggest local artist right now and she's has been to Eurovision to perform so the setting wouldn't be as daunting for her a second time around.

Plus she was well up for competing last year and is a known ESC nut.

The Daily Telegraph Australia say here how much she'd like to do it again this year, however she hadn't been asked up to that point.

I'd love it to be Jess but I'm not quite sure I can see them sending the same artist for the second year in a row (in admittedly different circumstances), although it'd be great to see her have the chance to redeem herself as her 'Sea of Flags' performance didn't go down too well unfortunately and we all know she's a better singer than what she did in that interval act (although I didn't think it was too bad!).
