Also Showdown is 10/10 but one of weakest on the album of the millennium.

Shadow is still a 10/10 moment for me.

OI thought I heard everything aboot ITZ except that reallly nebulous moment with Ootrageoos. Was that photo on twitter by her brother of the worst moment the moment she hurt the leg then went walking roond toilets barefoot?

 

I thought she wanted MATM and then Toxic, whereas the record label fought for Outrageous and Boom Boom and didn't want Toxic released? But Britney ahd full creative control and SMASHED it.

 

She wanted Shadow released as the lead single? A ballad really?

Its a good song, but I think its my least favorite from the album (minus the bonus tracks). My 3 favs were not released as singles: Hook Up, Shadow and Breathe On Me. Just goes to show you what a strong album it is. I cant complain of my favs going out sooner than I wanted because all the songs are strong, but I wish the singles werent always so overrated because I feel a lot of album tracks are some of Britneys best songs ever.

It really is.

 

It's her best and one of the ebst pop albums ever made (for me the best, some people might prefer Ray of Leet, Thriller and Bad though).

She initially wanted 'Showdown', but the label refused to even entertain the idea of a ballad being the lead single. They wanted Outrageous. Britney set her sights to MATM and asked Madonna to be on the track. After Madonna signed on, both of them were full steam ahead.

 

-Britney refused Outrageous for the second single and demanded Toxic.

-Same thing for Everytime.

-Broke her knee to stop Outrageous from happening as the fourth single.

-Britney has no love for Outrageous.

Omg. Britney has just been trolling us all for 11 years! *.* she's actually an incredible dancer still and didn't really break her knee. She's just that good at acting and pretending she can't dance, all because of her not wanting 'Outrageous' as a single!

 

I love her more now that's come to light. :D

I dont understand the record label's obsession with Outrageous. If they wanted an urban single, Boom Boom or Hook Up are miles better. Especially back in 03/04, I could see a Sean Paul remix to The Hook Up
