Shame the compilation chart archive goes back to the earliest of 12th February 1994 and not 14th January 1989 as hoped

I'm sure they'll go back further soon. Same with the End of Year charts.

Well I'm loving the massive increase in information! I'm not sure how keen I am on the design and it seems to now run slower than it used to for me but I'm sure I will get used to it.

The best new here is that the incomplete sales-only top 100 in the first week that ran is FINALLY complete! I don't think the full positions for that were ever even available to Charts+ subscribers. (Could you go complete this in the chart archive Dan? http://www.officialcharts.com/charts/singl...t/20140706/7509 :magic:)

I can't say I'm a big fan of the design. Looks abit cheap, but loving the Midweek Top 100. Hopefully stuff like this will stay. :)
Is it possible in the Sunday Chart Show Thread to have artist's chart histories and chart runs to include positions from the 76 - 100 region then now that they're far easier to find? ^_^ Would look great imo!

This would be fabulous if possible!!

I'll ask Ben and see if he's cool with this!

This is amazing - I could spend hours just looking through the archives!

The only negative point I have is that the midweek chart appears to show changes from last week's midweek position rather than Sunday's chart - for example Hozier is shown as being up 4-2 rather than a non-mover! Very odd!

We see what we can do, can't promise as we are all busy at the moment.

When I type in this link, http://www.officialcharts.com/charts/singles-chart/20150103 it takes me to this link http://www.officialcharts.com/charts/singles-chart/20141228. Does this mean they are now publishing the chart archives as the day the chart is announced or are they still sticking with the following Saturday?
The URLs do use the day the chart is announced, but the artist pages still use the week ending dates so I don't think they're changing practices. (Myself I wish they would though)

Looks very good on a first glance. How far do the Top 100s go back? Do they go back to when there were exclusion criteria from the "next 25"?

Looks like a lot of data to add to my database, I will keep the "virtual book" threads based on Top 75 until I've reached the end in December, than I intend to expand to include data from the top 100 if I've typed everything up in time! I'm sure this will mean a whole host of pretty obscure artists will have to have entries!

I think this has the answers: http://www.officialcharts.com/who-we-are/h...t-our-database/
Top 100s going back to 1983 then (with a gap of 3 years that they say they are working on filling in) :o To update my chart spreadsheets or not... (would take a pretty long time lol).

Well... you are young, you can easily catch up ^_^

I'm old, and I intend to catch up!

I haven't really dedicated much time to these spreadsheets in a while anyway to be honest. They're at least definitive enough from 2002 to now (2007 to now for albums) :magic:

Well this new site is absolutely incredible.

Can see a lot of my free time being spent browsing all those chart runs and stats for any and every artist i listen to. Wow. Good job ~

That's actually not a new idea, as I already was thinking of it last year already. :P

We might start to expand from March as it is not as easy as you think (or rather said it's easy to find, but lot of work to expand every artists) and we highlight it, if the chart history is top 100 or top 75. ;)

:w00t: Amazing stuff!

*.* Top100 midweek chart updates~ :cheer:

Those top100 runs for singles and albums xD

end of year charts only go back to 2006 :(

Yeah that's the only real disappointment :(, hopefully this will be expanded in the coming weeks. :D
