If you are referring to Jessie J, she has dropped 3 places to #38

Thought she would have dropped more. Maybe the BRITs effect will push her out as she's fallen a bit on streaming as well

Hopefully, Common & John Legend will enter tomorrow's update following their Oscars performance
Well no doubt Ronson/Mars will win the Best British Single award so no doubt it will creep back up by sunday

Eugh.

Please please please let it be Rather Be. :(

Tuesday Update

Singles

1 Ellie Goulding (26.2k)

2 Kelly Clarkson (17.3k) *

3 Weeknd (14.5k)

4 David Guetta feat. Emeli Sande (14.4k)

5 Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney (14.1k)

22 Taylor Swift [style]

27 Taylor Swift [blank Space]

42 Calvin Harris feat. Haim - Pray To God

Ellie may just scrape 100k again this week. I'm really hoping Kelly stays #2 this week :D

The 3-5 positions are looking very close! They could easily shift around next week! I would love for Calvin to enter the top 40 this week if streams help it

May I ask why Pray To God has been highlighted i.e. in red and italics?

Because the rest are new entries, and Pray To God is just bubbling under.. ^_^

Black Star Riders? Who?

How is the Fifty Shades of Grey compilation selling, if you have that information, please?

Black Star Riders good question, I don't even know myself apart from oogling

50 Shades is on sales of 10.1, (7k ahead of the BRITs album).

What's the Noel Gallagher track?

The pitfalls of not including song titles ~ It's 'Ballad Of The Mighty I' which presumably got a physical release this week. Would be great if that could hang onto the top 40 but I imagine it'll fall just short.

Better known as Thin Lizzy.

Wow at Led Zeppelin being #1, even if it won't be there officially. Imagine Dragons really aren't doing too well with their album down to #7. I've not been a fan of their music this time around but I would have expected they'd gathered some more fans than what the chart run is suggesting.

They should have done a Monday release at least. Madonna only has herself to blame for quite possibly her best song in ages to miss the top 40. Although don't they release live versions of the song as well, if so that could help ensure a top 40 placing. It really deserves to outpeak 'Gimme All Ur Lovin' at least :(

I don't think that even Madonna has much say in how her singles are released but I do agree that the releasing of 'Living for Love' is absurd.

May I ask where Doing it has fallen to?
#15

Thanks, this will probably fall out of the top 15/20 by Sunday then

Sad to see Chris Brown and Tyga's album so low, it's a really strong collaboration album. Not getting my hopes up but hopefully it'll hang on to the top 10.

Cheers Bre. It's been added. :)

It's an amazing song. Would love it to hold on but, like you say, most likely it will fall out by Sunday.

I'm not really bothered by who wins Best British Single (as long as it isn't Thinking Out Loud). Would like it to be Ghost though!

Anyway, where is Thinking Out Loud and Gravity? Thanks.
