I accidentally posted the DEMO version of Amnesia. It's still an 11/10

Mmmm Papi, how that made the album over some of the AMAZING bonus tracks... I'd say this was the worst Britney album when it came to deciding what belonged on the main edition.

It could have been sitting up there with ITZ and Blackout if the track listing were:

4. Out From Under

5. Shattered Glass

6. Amnesia

7. If You Seek Amy

8. Phonography

9. Unusual You

10. Trouble

I voted 'My Baby' out. The only Britney track I would rate below a 4/10.

'Blur' for me. Always been my least favourite Britney song. Such a dull and bland song. 'My Baby' is so sweet! :cry:

 

I'm going to riot if 'Quicksand' finishes outside the top 10! Same goes for 'Phonography' and 'Amnesia' too! (The latter two I can see finishing comfortably inside the top 10 though)

 

So many things RIGHT but SO WRONG at the same time with this album. 'Shattered Glass' needed a middle 8 + a 2x chorus finish at LEAST. Makes me sick that the beauty only lasts 2 mins & 52 seconds! :drama: We are all very aware of the bonus tracks for this album. Oh my. And then Selena's 'Whiplash' (written by Britney at around the time of 'Circus') should have been recorded by R Brit and recorded for the album too.

 

Also Tyler, sorry to do this to you but that 'Amnesia' video has a horrible echoy sound to it, could you edit it with this video instead? :D

But in all seriousness though... have you heard 'Blur' or 'Lace & Leather' or (and I'm only saying this as it'll be the first one to go) 'My Baby'?

'My Baby'. It's a sweet song but not one to hear too often.

 

Quite honestly I don't know how those deluxe tracks missed being standard album tracks. Maybe 'Rock Me In' is less worthy, but the others are stronger than a few of the main album tracks. Tyler I will give your track list a listen and see if it improves my opinion on 'Circus' as a whole :o

Oh and can we NOT have RMI be the first bonus track out? 'Trouble' is my least favourite (although it's still v good obviously!) but can I also point people in the direction of 'Blur'/'Lace & Leather'/'Mmm Papi' before we go picking at bonus tracks? :)

 

(Sorry Tyler, I know you have a soft spot for 'Mmm Papi'. But it's 6 out of 10 material, at best.)
