Off-topic but I honestly though that was Courtney Cox in your set. Bloody hell.

But it is, lol. It's from Cougar Town.

It's in the title - who has the "best shot", not who "will be" x

Educate the pressed soul Joseph

As the years go by I struggle more and more to see any of them having a viable shot at a solo music career.

Una undoubtedly has the talent, and I guess adult contemporary music would be the best fit for her. I think out of all of the girls, she's the one who would have the drive, passion and artistry to create an album she'd be proud of, and actually work hard to try and make it a success. However I think that genre, plus her age, and her Saturdays background, would ultimately stand in her way of being successful - I could only see her achieving minor hits. I think she has a good chance of continuing to be a TV personality though, particularly in Ireland. I've not seen or heard anything about her stint on The Voice Ireland, but I assume her level of notoriety will have increased there - so I'm sure she will continue being high profile there, with bits and bobs of work in the UK too.

I think Frankie has the required ingredients to become a popstar akin to the likes of Cheryl & Rachel Stevens (in my eyes, this is no bad thing), but currently I don't think that sort of popstar is in demand - not for the long-term, at least. I could see her achieving a successful single or two, if it was incredible pop helmed by the likes of Xenomania, but I think she'd fall flat with an album release. I more easily see her choosing to juggle her family life with work in TV, most likely reality TV.

I could see Mollie remaining a fixture in papers/magazines entertainment/gossip columns, with them commenting on what she's wearing / what event she's at etc. A bit of a socialite I suppose. Maybe dabbling in the fashion industry, continuing to lend her name & be involved with fashion lines. I think music wise it'd be a very similar situation to Frankie. With Mollie not having the responsibility of children and married life, perhaps she'd have a more viable fair crack at the whip compared to Frankie, though.

I ultimately see Vanessa gravitating back to theatre work, leading lady roles. Her voice is powerful and I think any production would be happy to have her in the cast. I sadly think she's be rather unsuccessful as a solo artist, even with that voice. I think if she did do singles and an album, it wouldn't be very mainstream.

Finally Rochelle. Credit to her, she's successfully forged her way back into the TV world (remembering that she actually did TV work in between S Club 8 & The Saturdays). From my perspective, she's the one who has the most promising career in the UK away from the group overall, even if it seems like that won't be in music. I certainly think she has the perfect credentials to be a solo popstar though, and crucially a great voice. I could imagine her being more diverse with her genre choices than the other girls - I could easily see her doing dance, dance-pop, pure-pop, r'n'b, soul, emotive ballads, acoustic...! If she was to dip her toe into solo music, I'd particularly love to see her as a featured artist on a dance track with her first effort. The obvious choice would be LuvBug - perhaps Quen Rochele would give them their first Top 10 hit. x

I think Rochelle would perhaps have the edge on all of them, so I've voted for her. I could quite easily see *none* of them even trying though, if their current ventures are anything to go by.

For solo success there needs to be at least an illusion of personality and there is none so my vote is for cactus.
I think Vanessa could have a Mutya Buena moment: one solo album, two or three singles with the last one being flop, then dropped by the label. Though she could be a great featuring artist.

Who of them is a lesbian?

If so, that one. Because she won't be dropping children left and right.

Rochelle - will have a successful career in TV

Frankie - probably the one who needs to work the least (i.e. had the richest husband) so will pop up here & there on random TV shows like "Celebrity Finger Painting With Their Kids". Something she can film in a day and not commit to like Strictly

Una - plenty of TV/music work in Ireland. And if she sticks with the right people could sign a songwriting/publishing deal to write for other people. She's doing great on The Voice Of Ireland, she is a popular pick with contestants and from interviews its clear TVOI were chasing her for a while, so I'm sure as long as the show is on air she'll have a job.

Vanessa - theatre (some West End, probably alot of national tours) and I'm A Celeb

Mollie - I genuinely think she has the best chance at a solo career in music because she still appeals to young girls. Sorry but the music industry is ageist. Older singers (Kylie, Madonna, etc) only do well because they are so established and iconic. I think the young audience will still buy into Mollie where as they view the others and older, mature, mothers. She also has connections at Radio 1 (eg being on the panel for their Teen Awards thingy, being friends with Aled, etc). But I don't even know if this is something Mollie will pursue, I think she's more interested in the fashion industry. Can see her writing a 'Celebrity Fashion Column' for magazines, fashion correspondent on TV, modelling work, etc.

Based on her profile and popularity alone I would say Frankie, closely followed by either Una or Rochelle.

As much as I love Vanessa and I think she has the best voice I can't see her doin much successfully and I don't think Mollie would stand a chance.

Just to make things clear...

We know Mollie, Una and Vanessa have been recording solo. Facts and all.

Rochelle might have, but I feel like it was for LuvBug. Otherwise she probably didn't.

Frankie hasn't (not that we know of) either.

Rochelle has definitely recorded with LuvBug. It's just whether it was for the demos or the final version and also whether any of the tracks will make the album.

Definitely this, she somehow seems to be the face of the band and the one who kind of oozes star quality. However, she doesn't have the voice or the drive to go solo.

I don't really see any of the others have success, they may release stuff but I doubt any would do anything. There's not really that demand from the media/public for any of them to go solo.

Frankie has the best profile/likeability/name/recognisbale look. But I reckon she'd be happy enough to be a stay at home mum for a few years and the do Loose Women or something equally as bad. Her & Wayne have enough money, and she has been doing this long enough with SC8
