DRAMA! According to The Sun Zayn is dropped by Syco/Simon Fuller so they can focus on 1D.

Pretty sure another major label will scoop him up pretty quickly, so Syco abandoning him is no loss on his part really.

Syco have denied this.

Simon confirmed in a interview with Dan Wootton Zayn is no longer with Syco but on a other Sony label.

Not shocked at that at all tbh, it always seemed like he'd want to sing "cooler" music to me. Fair dos!

It was always kinda obvious, especially with the lack of writing credits. I think from around 2013 he looked slightly disinterested, I mean more Urban was always his thing where as I think for the other four the sort of folk-pop sort of suits them.

 

Good luck to him though.. when he is finally able to release something.

 

The impression I get anyway is that One Direction will disband unofficially after this album.. been so many hints.
