Such a shame to see my favourite member leave, but he obviously feels it was the right time/decision to make. To me Zayn and Harry were One Direction, much in the way Nadine and Cheryl were Girls Aloud so it will be interesting to see how far they can go as a four piece.

Why is he apologising for potentially letting fans down by leaving? If fans think that, then they need to get the f*ck over themselves.

 

It never really crossed my mind that a member would leave; I just assumed they'd always come to a mutual decision to split. I'm not bothered myself but, in terms of entertainment news, this is pretty damn big!

I'm not overly bothered by it all really because being honest, he was always my 5th favourite (or 4th at best)..

 

More interested in seeing where it all goes from here.

I'm really shocked that this came by so soon but can't say that I'm surprised that he was the first to walk out, especially with him being on tabloid after tabloid at home.

 

Even more interesting is that a news show in the Philippines deliberately left Zayn off and I thought "It's gonna be all downhill from here..."

Definitely! Looking forward to seeing how he aligns himself for a solo career. I'm glad some people on Twitter are seeing it like that too, which is unusual (:kink:).

Zayn will stay out of the spotlight for a while now, infact I would expect if he's been allowed out of his contract there's probably some gardening leave.

 

Massive guilty pleasure, so I can't say I'm not disappointed. He was always the most awkward one with the fame, but yes I do expect they will do the final album, then a Greatest Hits and then call it a day.

I'd like to say this is a big shock but I think I saw it coming. He's never really seemed 'comfortable' on the stage and its obvious that the massive press interest got to him.

 

He will deffo be missed though.

Totally gutted Zayn was one of my fave members after Niall and Liam, will they still be successful as a foursome, I honestly dunno and I got a feeling that this could be the beginning of the end for these boys, this also probably means that there will be no more singles from Four either.

 

But anyway it's such a shame and good luck to Zayn in the future, but still I'm totally gutted.

Seeing four of them on an album cover instead of five would just look... strange.

Really quite sad about Zayn leaving, I did expect things would come to an end soon-ish but I certainly didn't want it. I don't think the end of their careers will come about much quicker as a result of this but still, I am curious as to how their next album and the inevitable GH go. Will they ever reunite? Who knows.

A sad situation. I hope Zayn is feeling ok and is totally at ease with the decision he's made. Hopefully he relaxes & may consider a solo career in the future.

That is your opinion and I have mine :lol: to be honest without Zayn I don't think Little Mix would have as much success worldwide as they do. But like I still think they would have their UK success if that makes sense?

I'm not sure tbh. I don't think it'll make any difference. They appeal to a similar target audience, except 1D obviously had more appeal due to being boys that 11 year old girls could crush on etc... I don't think it'll hurt or further Little Mix from where they are now tbh.
