September 17, 200620 yr 39 (from 30) Jealousy-Lucy http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/CXPCTY105.JPG Four years ago the UK was taken by storm by a phenomenal tune called 'Starlight' by the Supermen Lovers. This massive track also introduced the supreme vocalist, Mani Hoffman. Jealousy and their first single 'Lucy' is in fact a fusion of two highly successful French bands - Live Saver (featuring writer/producer Pierre Hinard who co-wrote and co-produced 'Lucy' and the massive single 'Obsession' by Aventura) and Work to Beauty (featuring Mani Hoffman on their successful Epic France released single 'Thing'). In addition to the house classic version there are stunning remixes available in an acoustic pop/rock version, 'Funky House' mix by Desire and a re-work from legendary production team K-Klass. September 17, 200620 yr 38 (from 81) Get Cape - Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager: Part One http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/ATUK042CDX.JPG 20 year old wunderkind Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly (aka Sam Duckworth to his mates) releases 'The Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager (Part 1)', following on the success of his limited edition debut AA side 'I Spy / Call Me Ishmael' Written on a train during his gig-to-gig, sofa-to-floor, bus-to-train journeys across Britain (Duckworth spent 2005 prolifically gigging, clocking up over 160 gigs since the start of 2005), 'Chronicles...' is self-produced and is another superb example of Duckworth's forceful, emotional melody, delicate then furious acoustic guitar and twitchy electronic beats. It's about "the emotional issues that bubble up for you, about meeting people on the road, and how they end up becoming some of your best friends 'cause you share common experiences". - HMV Get Cape - Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager: Part One [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayVpqngjxp8.swf track listing * 1. September 17, 200620 yr 37 (from 23) Supafly Inc - Moving Too Fast 36 (from 83) Guillemots - Trains To Brazil http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1705998.JPG Guillemots release their splendid new single 'Trains To Brazil', which was originally given a limited release last year. Of course, you couldn't actually get a train to Brazil from the UK, because at some point you would have to fly or sail, but the sense of adventure and excitement is perfectly channeled through the song. And talking of excitement, levels have recently been off the scale recently as the band have received a Mercury Prize nomination for their debut 'Through The Window Pane' and with William Hill currently offering 3/1, it's definitely worth a punt. - HMV Guillemots - Trains To Brazil [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_aHlHc_Vb4.swf track listing * 1.
