Voted in the early hours and was very pleased to have the expanded points format! In the end I had exactly 15 songs which stood some way above the rest so it worked out perfectly. Am really interested to see how this contest turns out as it seems wide open and I'd be equally happy with a number of potential winners.

 

A country I think deserves a bit of hype is Ultraviolenceland - lovely little track and I could see it doing very well. :heart:

I've come to terms with the possible obvious victory of a certain country even if it's a bit of a cheap entry but the song grew on me and it's easily their best to date. And no, it's not the Former Buzzjack Republic of Elëdan. ~.

I agree, it's in the same vein as "RAMelia" but it's nowhere near as great as that track. I can't see it sweeping the board. Same goes for the Former Buzzjack Republic of Elëdan, not as massive as Cut Copy. Not even 1% there imo, but I can see it doing well based on the hype alone. I can't see Persephonia going all the way either but then again I said the same for "Baba Yetu". Danaelanda though would be my bet but it's a very open contest this month.

The way '7even' builds is such a wonderful musical journey, the final minute-or-so is breathtaking. :wub: Would love to see that matching up to these high predictions.

I don't think '7even' will have quite the same wide appeal as 'RAMelia (Tribute To Amelia)', but then I don't think it'll necessarily need it as I expect the winner will be a relatively 'low' scoring one (it'll break the points record though :lol:) so it could do it with a blitz of high scores, it's about the only song I think I can reliably predict will get that.

 

Increasingly thinking the Hot Chip hype is on name alone and it doesn't actually sound like a winner at all to be honest... I hope it does do well though as it is a good song albeit not exactly their best ~

Not massive on the Rontvia track, I can't see it as a winner but there aren't really any clear cut winners this month so I still don't know what's going to happen.

btw i voted the other day and something overpassed which i thought would be my obvious 18 but that's still right up there as well. my favourite 18 + 15 in ages (and both dance lmao PREDICTABLE ME)
