Aren't sales lower down generally less now than when Jess was on pre-orders? I mean the bulk of sales is made up by the top 2 - who are well in front.

Therefore it would be easier for someone to rise up the chart atm. I can't see her denting the top 2

I think top 2 is not going to happen now, but this per-order has been in the top 150 for almost a month now, and has been up for pre-order for ages, so I'm sure it'll have lots of pre-order sales. I can see it making #1 in the first couple of midweeks anyway.

 049. Sia - Big Girls Cry

:ne: 783. Sia - Fire Meet Gasoline

Track of the Day and video premiere effects respectively! Not sure what the crack is with 'Fire Meet Gasoline' - is it a single elsewhere in the world or alongside 'Big Girls Cry' in the UK? - but it's one of my absolute favourites on the album so any recognition it gets is fab!

Wow WTWM is going to be much bigger than I expected! :o I'm also starting to think maybe Carly does have a slight chance of getting #1

Bills and All Cried Out would be great #1s too :D

I remember she said 'Big Girls Cry' is specifically a single for the UK, so other territories must be getting 'Fire Meet Gasoline' in its place. Maybe she'll swap and change and we'll get that afterwards while other territories get 'Big Girls Cry'?

Can you please stop this initialising I/we ain't got a clue what you are talking about.

So happy to see 'Big Girls Cry' as track of the day  It needs to be at least as big as 'Elastic Heart' though i can't see that happening now the video effect has worn off. Hopefully it gets full Radio 1 support and allows 'Fire Meet Gasoline' to also get a release after this dies down.

Also really happy to see 'Talking Body' doing something. Wish it was the actual version charting though :(

 38. Conor Maynard - Talking About

This really isn't working

 65. Rihanna - American Oxygen

Picking up a bit again?

 69. Madonna - Ghosttown

Meh, could be doing worse

 87. Olly Murs - Seasons

This was a catastrophe for Murs, what went wrong?

 136. Purity Ring - Bodyache

Where did this come from?!

 151. Nicki Minaj - The Night Is Still Young

This has been yo-yo-ing up and down from 120 to 190 for weeks now, and still not breaking the top 100

People really should be applauding 'Ghosttown' more. Sure it's not a big hit it's actually selling, that is amazing. Compare it to 'Girl Gone Wild' and 'Turn Up The Radio' and this performance is nothing short of miraculous.
Making an utterly stupid choice of single is what went wrong with this one.

And also Capital for not moving on from "Up"

I'm sure 'Big Girls Cry' was a single in some European territories last year so I guess it's finally getting a UK release whilst the rest move onto 'Fire Meet Gasoline'.

Yeah, it has been doing really good on sales for a song selling pretty much only due to good Radio 2 airplay. Just a shame it doesn't have streaming to boost it in the official chart as that's preventing it from going Top 100 when it has been there most of the time on sales. Would also be good if TV played the video so that non-Radio 2 audiences could come across it.

I can't see any other recent/relevant songs/albums/artists with the same initialisation...

I myself have actually no idea what is a wtwm, I don't have 1000 song titles in my head :P

Want To Want Me sorry, by Jason Derulo? It's in the release schedule and pre-order update :kink:

... with 200 other songs... but yeah now it's clear.

I generally support you, but I had no idea what the abbreviation was until I looked it up  Could be claimed it makes the forum a harder read, but its not doing any harm really.
