And so it is with regret, that we say goodbye to one of Gaga's best album tracks. 'Paper Gangsta' relates to Gaga's record deal with Def Jam (as referenced in the song) and how let down she felt about it. It's a song that stands out from a lot of her others, both sonically and lyrically. I am quite shocked at some of the hate it gets because it's such a daring and beautiful piece :'( It gets its chance to shine for a brief moment in the 'Telephone' music video but that isn't enough to save it here. Gah.
