Wow I'm surprised they've gone with a ballad as their debut single. As has been said, it's nothing new or original. The verses are pretty forgetabble but I'm finding the chorus actually quite likeable. Obviously a lot depends on how much radio play it, I can see Capital picking it up but not too sure about Radio 1.

Totally ashamed to say i'm absolutely loving this at the moment

I've just clicked on this thread for the third time in the last week or so, mistaking it for a topic about Rizzle Kicks :nocheer: (not that I'm a big fan of them but they'd be preferable). It doesn't help that they had an album called 'Stereo Typical' either. I would suggest that Rizzle Kicks go full-on Natalia Kills on them and sue for plagiariam or something but it's not like this lot will be around long. :kink:

Anyway, the song (or at least the first half of it) is completely uninteresting, as expected. :/

Just heard this for the first time in full... it's actually pretty decent! Such a bizarre lead single though. I can only imagine they've gone with a ballad as their debut to get themselves away from as many 1D comparisons as humanly possible. A smart move tbh.

You'd think that with them being an 8 piece boyband they'd all sing a bit. This is literally like a duet with 6 back up singers

One of them is taking style tips from Zayn Malik when he had that blonde streak :P

Unashamedly kinda love the song and the video has made me realise that I could actually like them if they got rid of say three members to become a five-piece. Disposing of the ones who come across as the most cocky ofc.
Hmm it's rather generic and with only half of them getting solos most of them seem irrelevant. Not feeling it on first listen
So I've checked this out, wasn't a big fan of them on X Factor (that might be an understatement). The verses are a bit rubbish, nothing much happens in them. The chorus is quite good though. The video is dull though, I got bored and turned it off after less than 2 minuets.

Oh my gosh I thought the same!

As did I. The video reminds me of Union J's Tonight a little bit.

Its UnionJ with masks on and 4 extras.

Its OK and I'm sure this as single #1 will do fine, then it'll be the same old story.

Still, theyll make a few bob-- although with 8 not many bobs!

The song still sounds to me like some Westlife B side song. I still can't get used to 8 piece boyband, it just doesn't work. Like it was said before, it sounds like 2 guys and his backing singers :D AND they even couldn't have a propet screen time, that guy with a beard is shown for maybe 5 seconds.

Say what you want about Walsh but even if he did sound harsh, I do think he was right in saying 8 piece boyband can't work.

Oh! Stereo Kicks!!

I had Rizzle Kicks in my brain???

I agree, 8 piece boyband? Too much going on - from previous experiences, I would suggest 5 members max!

Why are they even making a video if Barclay isn't it every shot ?
The studio isn't actually that bad. I still think this won't really do much for them though.
