One listen of this and I was a bit unsure. However, second listen came around and I was SOLD. This piece of hot mess Bollywood is undoubtably infectious and only elevated further by the visuals. I was afraid of its chances of qualifying, but I was thrilled for Singerpurear who managed to defy our expectations in the end! Excellent discovery! 15 Points: Ajanaeda // SYKES - Best Thing An entry I've been backing since my very first listen of the semis. Such a pleasant vocal and lush production values, with an excellent video, featuring someone who seems to be the hybrid of Lily from Hannah Montana and Sia. Absolutely captured my attention from the word go. 18 Points: Persephonia // A-WA - Habib Galbi NO we did not bribe each other. Oslol were my original favourites until they DNQed, but I was hooked on this all the same. Now, with repeated listens this refused to budge from the top. Persephonia have brought a track that I could not even begin to directly compare to another. So distinctly unique, I didn't even have to grasp a word of what they were saying to become utterly hooked. The instrumental ALONE is fantastic. Also 10/10 for the visuals.
