April 23, 201510 yr #BBHMM still has a bit of momentum there. New peak for The Weeknd but I think this will be the song's peak. Possibly number 2 if Uptown Funk! falls dramatically in coming weeks.
April 23, 201510 yr "Earned It" is speeding up straight to #1 on radio and it's currently ahead of "Uptown Funk" on iTunes. I think depending on where "Shut Up And Dance" goes it should get to #2. Glad to see Natalie La Rose top 10!
April 23, 201510 yr Author Chart HighlightsWiz Khalifa's "See You Again" tops the Hot 100 for a second week. It keeps at #1 on Digital Songs (selling 375,000 copies and passing 1,000,000 in total), Streaming Songs, and On-Demand Songs, and blasts into the Radio Songs top 20 at #18.Nine tracks benefit from the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, though the bulk of the performance gains will impact next week's chart. The biggest beneficiary is Little Big Town's "Girl Crush" which sold 98,000 copies this week, ascending 31 spots to #25 and giving the band their third top-40 hit. Elsewhere, Lee Brice's "Drinking Class" re-enters at #56 (curiously, in its 21st week) and Blake Shelton debuts at #93 with "Sangria".T-Wayne's "Nasty Freestyle", a Vine-driven viral hit, makes a hefty debut at #43. The track is the latest social-media-driven hip-hop tune to impact the chart: this week, Silento's "Watch Me" sits 11 spots below at #54, while Chedda da Connect's "Flicka da Wrist" continues to bubble under at #103. Time will tell if any of them become this year's "Hot N*gga".Other Action: "Talking Body" becomes Tove Lo's second top-20 hit, jumping six to #18; "Hey Mama" jumps 17 spots to #27, giving David Guetta his 8th top-40 hit, Nicki Minaj her 31st, and Afrojack his second; Trey Songz earns his ninth top-40 with "Slow Motion"; Carly Rae Jepsen's "I Really Like You" blasts 44 spots to #39 (with help from Justin Bieber), giving Carly her third top-40; Skrillex and Diplo notch their first top-40s each with "Where Are Ü Now" (unclear whether they're being considered a duo for the Jack Ü project or as separate solo artists), while Justin himself earns his 24th. April 25, 201510 yr Wow at Muse 'Madness' going double platinum :o I do remember it doing surprisingly well in the USA but I definitely wouldn't have thought it'd sold near 2 million. (Are these certifications even based just on sales? I don't actually know). Thank you for posting all of this stuff in britster's absence btw ~ [/musicmaster]

(Are these certifications even based just on sales? I don't actually know). Thank you for posting all of this stuff in britster's absence btw ~ [/musicmaster] I think they must include streaming, because Drunk In Love has probably sold around 2 million and Only around 1 million. It's impressive that Avicii's gone gold with an album track in the US!
April 25, 201510 yr They added streaming to certs in May 2013 I believe, under 100:1. I would guess streaming is mostly responsible for 'You Make Me' since it peaked at #162 on US iTunes :o
April 25, 201510 yr It's impressive that Avicii's gone gold with an album track in the US! 'You Make Me' is a single actually, but I don't remember it doing well in the US so it going gold is surprisingly amazing :o Wake Me Up must be multi-platinum then
April 25, 201510 yr Author Muse have def grown in stature here since around The Resistance or so. They were my favorite band when I was 14-15 when they were unknown enough here for me to be overly tribal and territorial about them, so I was kind of pleasantly shocked to hear them on pop radio years later.
