A band like the Corrs doing well on itunes is a great result for them. This album may perform slightly better than people are expecting. That said, I would be highly surprised if its overall total in the UK passes 100,000.

Lovely performance on The One Show tonight of 'Bring on the Night' :)
The album is No.5 on iTunes...doing shockingly well on downloads yet looks like it will miss the official top ten, ironically due to physical sales. I guess Xmas buying plus the 99p Google Play deals is all having a knock on effect.

Ooh, Bring On The Night now has an official video:

Edit: the video is quite odd, presumably a reference to their late father, which gives the lyrics to this song a whole different interpretation :o

The performance in The One Show had a huge effect, because only a few hours before they were #18 on iTunes  Which proves that the public is extremely responsive to this album, as long as they do a little promotion.

I think this push in the last day can make them re-enter the top10.

Oh, I thought the lyrics were very obvious about that meaning. What other interpretation did you make?

I'd thought it was about reluctantly embracing the future after the end of a relationship!

Down to #7, which is still great. And it has two compilations above, so they are actually #5.

I just think they are too high not to re-enter the top10 by tomorrow. If sales on iTunes are strong, physicals must be even stronger.

Yeah I see your point. To be honest I had to google Edith Grove and paper money to make sure they were talking about death.

After a top 10 place all week, the albums ends the week on number 11, which is annoying. That said, it has done so much better than i initially expected and it has opened with great sales.
^ It was midweek #11 on Wednesday. :kink: So it's done well to hold up in the last couple of days really.
Yeah, a week ago I was expecting something like #28, so that's really good. Still, I'm annoyed they missed the top10 for so little.
Oh wow. Just had first listen in full. So good  Stunning melodies as always ^_^ It'll just continue to get better and better. 'With Me Stay' is a current highlight for me. 'Unconditional' has great production. Very excited about this album.
Top 20 in the midweeks on week 2 is great, im happy with that. Its annoying it missed the top 10 by 1 place.

Streaming edged it out, it was No.10 on the album sales chart but more people streamed The Vamps' album. Corrs will sell more in the long run.

Stay wasn't an initial favourite but those disco strings and that sublime jig breakdown have turned it into one. So many great single choices on this album. Presumably I Do What I Like or White Light will be next but Stay, Harmony, Kiss Of Life or Unconditional would make great singles too, though I fear the latter would get a hard time for being a carbon copy of Taylor Swift's Style.
Its annoying the Vamps beat by very few sales, even more annoying is the Vamps are dropping at a much faster rate this week.

White Light back to #11 on iTunes and The Best Of up to #27. Corrs mania yasssss *.*

I LONG for the days when they held the #1 and #2 in the UK album chart simultaneously. When will your non-Adele faves?

They had the top 2 albums at the same time? When did I miss this?
