It's nothing like Trumpets/Wiggle, it's far poppier actually, it's more 'The Other Side'/'In My Head' than anything but quite different for him.

That explains it then. It would have been on the B list at least if that was still happening and might have actually done something. Stalling on the C list just isn't enough for any artist.
