April 29, 201511 yr Wow Jamie XX added :) and also Lion Babe - was this released last week or has it been held back. Lol at Cool & Cheerleader stalling on the B list!
April 29, 201511 yr Hurrah for David Guetta, Jack Ü and Jamie xx :cheer: getting those additions on another largely forgettable update~ The Major Lazer removal is bizarre  ~ questionable decisions to leave Alesso and OMI stalling on the B-list for another week too  <_<
April 29, 201511 yr Sia Sia Sia Sia Sia Sia Sia Sia!! :D Disappointing to see Major Lazer & Kodaline off after only 5 and 6 weeks respectively, yet they're giving Ed Sheeran a 9th week on the playlist, like that really needs it :( However I'll forgive them anything this week for adding 'Big Girls Cry' not that there was ever any doubt they would! Surprising that they're not gonna bother A-listing Omi or Carly, given their Top 3 status...
April 29, 201511 yr Major Lazer is turning into a rather big hit, with pretty much just Radio 1 support - I thought they'd celebrate that with a couple more weeks on playlist. Bloodstream? Why IS that still there?
April 29, 201511 yr Oh my god I never noticed Jamie xx getting added, amazing, but I am somewhat confused as to what he's pushing singlewise - I thought 'Gosh' was the single, music video and all?
April 30, 201511 yr "Clarity" was a bigger hit everywhere else. It was still a success in the UK though. And it got released twice so its total sales are probably quite high for its peak (wouldn't be surprised if it's done better than Break Free tbh).
April 30, 201511 yr I think 'Break Free' would have outsold it, that was very big and stayed in the chart for ages. 'Clarity' could easily overtake the sales of 'Stay the Night' if it hasn't already though, despite the lower peak it had the same amount of top 40 weeks as STN (7) and more top 100 weeks (17 > 12). Poor 'I Want You To Know' though oop, looks like it's going to underperform (it will still go top 40 I think but I thought it would be a potential top 10)
April 30, 201511 yr I'd also argue 'Clarity' is more well known than 'Stay The Night' too, although there's no real way of quantifying that.
April 30, 201511 yr I think Clarity is on about 250k. It's Zedd's Grammy winner - it's very well known.
April 30, 201511 yr A shame about Major Lazer being removed but hopefully it will have continued success anyway.
May 2, 201511 yr Oh, I don't approve of this. Moving "Bills" up to A-list over "Cheerleader"!? Nooooo.
