Oh wow her critical darling era is upon us. 💀 In all seriousness though, very intrigued to see what happens with this!

I did wonder if she ever would again, that'll be at least 11 years since her last proper release!

I hope the Vegas residency goes well so she then releases a new album sooner rather than later!

I wonder if later this year (and in time with the US shows) she’s recorded another Christmas song (perhaps one with a stateside show) or a One More Sleep remix that means she could try and plug that to try and sell the Vegas shows as it does seem quite a random thing and a bold number of dates to try and sell too!

New non Christmas music though is so long overdue though! I honestly think she has the right sort of talent to try and have Jessie Ware / Paloma Faith esque success where she could get herself some critical acclaim and a high charting album but obviously they’d need to be in the UK and get as much promo as possible as word of mouth wouldn’t get around that Leona had a new album out they’d need to be active but I think she seems quite happy and hungry to get active again if anything!

A remix with Kelly Clarkson would be insane, though I'd actually prefer a duet with Kelly on Mr Right to give that song a proper moment everywhere.

Part of me worries if she did a remix of One More Sleep with someone like Kelly that would get all the Spotify playlisting and risk the solo version falling away, which I doubt Leona would want, that's her song and should remain so imo.

Although chart wise, it'll probably boost it a little which would also give the original a bit more attention?

Charts tend to only recognise one version of a song, so if say she did a Kelly remix and the remix was out-streaming/selling the original then that versions sales would be combined with the original and the duet would be the one that got the credit on the charts.

I think she should be pushing CWL more but remixing One More Sleep is something I would be against.
