Nasty Freestyle for top 10 next week :cheer:

It'll probably get there eventually, but I'm not sure about next week as I checked and it's got pretty much no airplay yet.

Talking Body continues to rise and rise!!! A possible Top 10??

Such a shame about Trouble's Hot 100 run.  At least the song is performing better in the UK.

'Cheerleader' entering the Hot 100 - I wonder if this will be a properly big hit or just fizzle out like some other recent big European dance hits? (As in hits in Europe, I am aware OMI is Jamaican :P)

It seems like "Cheerleader" has had a remarkably quick rise on iTunes compared to "Waves" or "Prayer in C". In particular I recall "Waves" lingering within the bottom half of iTunes for months until it finally cracked the top 100 after it started getting pop airplay, but even then it rose maybe ten spots a week. "Cheerleader" on the other hand just kind of shot up into the top 50 in the past week, which probably bodes well for it. Its advantage is timing, I think, as it's being primed to become a summer hit. Maybe "Waves" would've done better if it was sent to pop radio a few months earlier.
Cheerleader is rising quickly on iTunes with virtually no airplay which bodes well. But I worry about timing -- I see another Rather Be where radio takes MONTHS AND MONTHS to come around and airplay finally peaks well after sales/hype/streaming has reached its peak. Radio is just such a dinosaur. I can easily see it being August before Cheerleader reaches top 10 airplay, which could mean Cheerleader will be lucky to make top 10 on the Hot 100. Hope I'm wrong though.

At least it'll have a long run if that's the case. 'Rather Be' could have went higher but its chart run wasn't bad at all in the end.
