May 6, 201511 yr NO CARLY NOOOOOOO Happy for Natalie, ready for Somebody to smash. Very surprised at the love for Lion Babe and Lianne La Havas, love them and hoping they can get hits!
May 6, 201511 yr Great to see The Maccabees still warranting an A list position and good to see The Vaccines best single since I Always Knew added to the highest rotation although this isn't as surprising. Also great for The Bohicas!!
May 6, 201511 yr Excited and nervous to see how 'Famous' does on the playlist. Really not Charli's best, but I want her to shift more albums. I quite like 'Famous' actually. I imagine it'll go C-B-B-B-out but yeah it should at least help shfit a few more albums. The huge M.O push is really odd. I was already surprised to see it on the A-list in the first place, but keeping it there after it looks set to miss the top 40 is strange. It's more support than the last three Little Mix singles have received, and it's not as if 'Preach' is a world apart from their sound. Yeah I was convinced they'd drop M.O this week. Sad to see Carly off already although it was pretty much expected. Nice to see Jungle pushing 'Time' again, not that it will do anything but it's my favourite single from them so I'm more than happy to hear it being played on the radio again :) This Rihanna campaign is just one big mess, I doubt even with Radio 1 rotation that (B)BHMM is going to trouble the Top 40. Pushing 'American Oxygen' probably would have been her best bet. Shame they're snubbing Kiesza and Lawson but again it's not entirely unexpected.
May 6, 201511 yr I'm shocked at the lack of support for Zedd and Selena Gomez.... Im pretty sure it would be big with support :( .... Actually worried it won't make top 40
May 6, 201511 yr Can't believe OMI is still only on the B-List even though it will now get a second week at No. 1. Especially when the likes of M.O. or Snoop Dogg, that might miss the Top 40 are on there. <_<
May 6, 201511 yr Ella on the A List with Together :D That makes it 3 singles have all hit the A List!
May 6, 201511 yr I just played that KLOE track "Feel" very Lana Del Rey (ish) UltraViolence you probably like it :cheer:
May 6, 201511 yr Loving the adds for Charles Hamilton, DJ S.K.T. and Natalie La Rose. Somebody looking to chart in the top 3 I think, big tune. NY Raining may get a top 10 and anywhere in the top 40 would be a good result for Take Me Away! Shout out for Sober Thoughts by Goldlink too. Imagine a Kendrick Lamar-Frank Ocean collab and you're close to imagining this song. Produced by Kaytranada, an upcoming producer who seems to fuse hip-hop and house very well.
May 7, 201511 yr I'd say Natalie will be no1, unless they've held it back too long! Not if Jason Derulo's 2 "Want To Want Me" produces strong 2nd week sales( His album will be out June 1st) and that should give the song a big boost on its 2nd week sales combining the album version with the single version. But i wish her the best of luck anyway whatever the result will be.
May 8, 201511 yr Disgusting they haven't play listed Meghan. Not sure if I'd call it disgusting lol but probably the most surprising snub of the year so far. Edited May 8, 201511 yr by Mango
