January 11, 201510 yr Force India, for the second year in a row, are the first to have a 2015 launch (January 21st) although it's not clear whether its just a livery launch or a full car launch!
January 11, 201510 yr Quite a few of the new cars are being launched around the 29th of January ahead of Jerez. Surprised to see all the official testing in Spain despite complaints it's too cold to be useful.
January 15, 201510 yr Author Hockenheim will be hosting this year's German Grand Prix as the Nurburgring doesn't have a contact this year following them alternating each year so Nurburgring will probably host the 2016 German Grand Prix.
January 19, 201510 yr Author Marussia boss John Booth is hopeful the team can put a rescue deal in time for them to take part in the first race of the season http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/30881741 Do people think Marussia will be on the grid in Australia or are they just clutching on straws?
January 19, 201510 yr I think they are clutching at thin air these days but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
January 20, 201510 yr Author This year Australian, Malaysian, China, Japan and Russia Grand Prix's will be taking place a hour earlier following recommendations made after Jules Bianchi's crash in October. They've been moved forward to avoid the races finishing at dusk or sunset. Very good idea in my opinion after what happened in Japan. What do other people think?
January 20, 201510 yr After an F1 season the gap seems AGES but only 2 months away now till it starts again! :D Seeing only 9 teams is sad tho :( keeping a keen eye on the Toro Rosso newbies I think they could spring a few suprises! Who's everyone's bet for the title then? Seems hard to look outside of Mercedes but it will be as close as it was last season?!
January 20, 201510 yr I hope for another Hamilton domination :kink: with huge fight for no.2 between the rest
January 20, 201510 yr Australia's new time was shit as it meant the sun was setting at the end of the race right into the eyes of the drivers.
January 21, 201510 yr Author It was only just that more European viewers would watch. That's way it was moved. To be honest. Move it back to 4am UK time for people who are prepared to wake up/stay up to watch the race. I enjoyed waking up at that time to catch the race. What about you? Williams have become the first team to reveal their 2015 car: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/30915475 I really hope Williams can win a race this season. I'm sure that they will providing their car is as competitive as last year's. My bet for the title is: Lewis Hamilton My 2015 F1 Predictions: Constructor's Championship: Mercedes Best Rookie: Max Verstappen Most Improved Team: McLaren Underachiever Team: Sauber again Breakthrough Driver: Danil Kyvat Worst Driver: Pastor Maldonado/ Marcus Ericsson. What do you other people think?
January 22, 201510 yr Author Yes, I've seen the new Force India livery. Very nice indeed. Hopefully Force India will be to maintain their form throughout the season instead of peaking early like last year.
January 22, 201510 yr My 2015 F1 Predictions: Constructor's Championship: Mercedes Best Rookie: Max Verstappen Most Improved Team: McLaren Underachiever Team: Sauber again Breakthrough Driver: Danil Kyvat My thoughts: Constructor's Championship: Mercedes - I agree Best Rookie: Max Verstappen Carlos Sainz Jr Most Improved Team: McLaren - I agree Underachiever Team: Sauber again - I agree Breakthrough Driver: Danil Kyvat - I agree but only because there's no other option
January 22, 201510 yr Past couple of years Force India have had the best livery for me. Especially when they made the switch to the black!
January 26, 201510 yr Author Lotus have revealed the first images of their Mercedes-powered E23 car: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/117467 Again similar livery to previous years. They say that they hope to be back in the hunt for podiums. In my opinion, I can't see them challenging for podiums this season.
January 26, 201510 yr I echo what Silas says in that Force India have got a beautiful livery yet again. They have had my favourite livery for years now and while this is less green and orange which I loved and more McLaren silver, it's still beautiful and maintains their identity with the orange strips.
January 28, 201510 yr Author Force India have pulled out of the first pre-season test because of the limited learning opportunities. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/31024486 What do you think of this?
January 29, 201510 yr Author McLaren have unveiled their 2015 car: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/31036093
