April 19, 201510 yr Author Hasn't seen the race so far- Is it definitely worth watching by the way? Catching up tonight.
April 19, 201510 yr Well it wasn't a classic put it that way but it got a little better towards the end (no spoilers of course :P)
April 20, 201510 yr Author At least the race was worth staying up for considering I had been out all day. Ferrari are delaying over a new contract for Kimi Raikkonen for 2016. Do people think he'll stay at Ferrari next year?
April 30, 201510 yr Author Considering how McLaren's car has been this season, could Fernando Alonso possibly quit F1 at the end of the season if McLaren continue to underperform? How the 2016 F1 Calendar could look next year with the news that Australia's season-opener will take place on April 3rd: April 3 - Australia (Albert Park) April 10 - China (Shanghai) April 24 - Bahrain (Sakhir) May 1 - Russia (Sochi) May 15 - Spain (Barcelona) May 29 - Monaco (Monte Carlo) June 12 - Canada (Montreal) June 26 - Britain (Silverstone) July 3 - Austria (Red Bull Ring) July 17 - Europe (Baku) July 31 - Germany (Hockenheim) August 7 - Hungary (Hungaroring) August 28 - Belgium (Spa) September 4 - Italy (Monza) September 18 - Singapore (Marina Bay) September 25 - Malaysia (Sepang) October 9 - Japan (Suzuka) October 23 - USA (Austin) October 30 - Mexico (Mexico City) November 13 - Brazil (Interlagos) November 27 - Abu Dhabi (Yas Marina)
April 30, 201510 yr Weird seeing Malaysia pushed back & Russia being brought forward. Good to see the European GP back I'm intrigued to see how it'll fare in Azerbaijan. I just wish they'd keep Interlagos as the finale it's so much better than the rather bland Yas Marina.
May 4, 201510 yr Author Put Brazil back as the last race or even Japan. I think Malaysia should stay as it is in the calendar. Hopefully Monza will stay on the calendar beyond 2016. Surely they can't get rid of Monza. I would definitely keep Silverstone, Monte Carlo, Spa, Monza because of their history.
May 5, 201510 yr Author Interesting theory on the future of Fernando Alonso from his ex-Renault team-mate Jarno Trulli: Read this when you get the chance: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/32521144
May 5, 201510 yr Now Lauda is saying Lewis deal should be done for Monaco...Keeps getting delayed. Lewis is either holding out for Ferrari or he has already signed and this is just part of the show to get people talking etc.
May 5, 201510 yr I don't see why dickhead would move to Ferrari though. Merc are boringly dominant right now so it would make far more sense, assuming he's driven by his ego rather than his bank balance (although given his relocation to avoid tax...), to stay put in the car to be in than move to Ferrari. I'd be signing a deal to take me to the end of 2017 right now and then seeing what happens with the rule changes and see who comes out on top.

Because Lewis will want to go head to head with Sebastian in the same car and destroy him. He has been making it pretty clear the last few years he reckons Seb is over rated. Everyone thought it was strange when he left Mclaren and it worked out pretty well. IMO he will stay at Mercedes but the option is there.
May 5, 201510 yr Author I would want definitely stay in Mercedes if I was him. Again Spain looking like a domination for Mercedes really hoping Ferrari can give them a big run for their money.
May 6, 201510 yr Author Ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix. McLaren has changed their car's livery for the first time in 18 years: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/32611280
May 9, 201510 yr Author Nico Rosberg on pole for the Spanish Grand Prix which stops Lewis Hamilton's stranglehold of pole positions as he has taken all the pole positions so far this season. Mercedes again half a second up on everyone else. Another two-horse race for the win beckons. Great qualifying for Carlos Sainz Jr in fifth and Max Verstappen in sixth who outqualified Kimi Raikkonen. Hopefully although it probably won't happen Ferrari can put up a fight against Mercedes in the race or some unreliability from Mercedes comes into play.
May 11, 201510 yr Author Did anyone see the Grand Prix yesterday? Good win for Nico Rosberg. Another Mercedes 1-2 as expected. Good race from Bottas in 4th. Regarding McLaren. Could Alonso or Button quit mid-season if the car doesn't improve? Red Bull again saying that they'll quit F1 if they can't get a competitive engine or Audi don't join forces with them. We'll wait and see what happens there.
May 13, 201510 yr I've yet to watch a Merc 1-2 procession this year, sorry "grand prix" Because Lewis will want to go head to head with Sebastian in the same car and destroy him. He has been making it pretty clear the last few years he reckons Seb is over rated. Everyone thought it was strange when he left Mclaren and it worked out pretty well. IMO he will stay at Mercedes but the option is there. Of course Vettel is overrated, but Hamilton is hardly one to talk. He is the definition of 'Flattered by a car that is miles better than everyone else, less than average otherwise'. The fact that people discuss either of those pair in the same breath as Alonso is horrifying. Alonso shines in a truly awful car, there's no one close to him on that grid in terms of talent.
May 14, 201510 yr Author Been too long since we had a Grand Prix where we had a straight fight between 3 teams battling for the win. Apparently the drivers will be surveying the fans of how the sport can be improved. What would you change for Formula One to be improved for us viewers?
May 14, 201510 yr I'm sure most of the "non-troll" answers will be about tyres. Managing the life of the tyres through a race is a big negative for most fans, would be better if tyre management was redundant & every lap was flat out racing.
