All over at turn 1, bit of a shame as Spa usually throws up a good spectacle. Then again I can't remember a good dry race there since 2004...

It's hope next Sunday's Italian Grand Prix isn't remembered for more tyre failures something has to be done to avoid that issue.
Yay! :cheer: Hopefully Force India can continue their progress with their car into next season as Nico and Sergio (who is also very likely to stay apparently) can definitely pull out the results when they have the car to do it.

Good to see that Hulkenberg is staying at Force India next season hopefully yes like Ryan said that Force India can continue to make progress up the grid with their car. For some reason, I hope Hulkenberg doesn't turn out to be another Heidfeld.

In F1 News today:

McLaren will face grid penalties again from engine changes for the Italian Grand Prix. More woe for McLaren.

Is it definitely worth watching the highlights of today's Italian Grand Prix by the way?

In the words of OMI, "no, not really"

Bar Raikkonen's comical start & Rosberg's retirement nothing really happened.

All the talk is over Mercedes' alleged running of tyre pressures below the stipulated requirements. In my view it looks like a disqualification is a potential outcome given all the information which has been uncovered so far.

Mercedes have been cleared of any wrongdoing and the result stands. Hamilton now with a 53 point lead in the Championship.
The aftermath of the race was definitely more exciting than the race itself, as I'm not a Hamilton fan I am disappointed that Mercedes have got away with that.

In the GP2 qualifying, Mitch Evans was excluded from qualifying for the same thing.

If I understand, Hamilton had to apologise for refusing to take his cap off during a minute's silence for the late Justin Wilson. Every other driver took their cap off. He thought that they were taking a photo.

Renault will stop supplying engines to other Formula 1 teams after its contractual obligations end.

Carlos Ghosn, Renault's chairman and chief executive officer, also hinted the company's relationship with Red Bull is likely to end this year.

Ghosn said: "We have already alerted the F1 authorities and told them: 'Don't count on us as a provider of an engine - it's over.'"

Renault is in the process of trying to negotiate a takeover of the Lotus team.

Been a long time coming. No benefit from 4 double WC's and all the hate from the past 18months. RBR are just children. All is fine as long as they are winning.

I think it will be the right decision for Button to retire from F1 if he doesn't get a seat at McLaren for 2016. What do other people think?
He's still a class act and I'm sure other (better) teams will be pursuing him if he leaves. However it is of course his decision so if he wishes not to move then fair enough.
