November 1, 20159 yr Author Very pleased to see Mexico back on the calendar. They've done a great job with it. Looking forward to the highlights tonight.
November 1, 20159 yr Yeah it was an average race in the end, some good battles though and I loved the cheers every time Checo made a pass! :D
November 1, 20159 yr Quite a strange race I found, I kinda switched off during periods so didn't follow the whole story, did Bottas really do 60 laps on one set of tyres? The atmosphere was incredible there, puts all the recent Tilke incarnations of late to shame...
November 1, 20159 yr Bottas pitted during the safety car on Lap 51ish, so did around 42-43 laps on his tyres. At the end I believe only Perez was on tyres that were very old and he was the only driver to do a 1 stop (I think), so it was remarkable that he pulled away from Verstappen to secure 8th as the tyres were about 50-55 laps old by the end.
November 1, 20159 yr Ah right thanks! Very impressive from the Mexican, shame he couldn't pip his team mate at the end but a great effort.
November 2, 20159 yr Author Another processional race at the front for the win. Great drive from Perez to do those amount of laps on one set of tyres. Good to see the crowd enjoy themselves. Shame the thunderstorms didn't come and throw a twist into the race.
November 15, 20159 yr Author Yet again another processional race for the win. Although some good action in the midfield and some fantastic overtaking from Verstappen.
November 15, 20159 yr The Brazilian Grand Prix was always one of the most exciting races in the calender. I can't remember when was the last time it was so boring :( At least the 2 Nicos finished in good positions :) And I'm glad after the parisian happenings Grosjean could finish the race in the points.
November 15, 20159 yr That was by far and away the most unexciting Brazilian Grand Prix I've ever watched. End of season dead rubber...
November 16, 20159 yr Author Felipe Massa was excluded from 8th place in the Grand Prix due to tyre pressures. Williams will appeal.
November 19, 20159 yr Author With the BBC looking to slash £35m from its sports rights budget. Looking likely that F1 could be included in that: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/formulaon...nsong-race.html Nothing yet to be confirmed though.
November 19, 20159 yr ^PLEASE NO imagine catching up on F1 on itv player *vom emoji* Edited November 19, 20159 yr by 🌚🌚🌚
November 28, 20159 yr Author Here's a small possibility that Channel 4 could get the free-to-air rights from the BBC although if they going to show qualifying for the European races then they would put it on More4 because of the horse racing contract.
November 28, 20159 yr If Channel 4 take over I hope they don't go back to the ITV ways and have 5 commercial breaks during a race :drama:
November 29, 20159 yr Author Another dull show for the lead for the race in today's Grand Prix which was pushed back to BBC2 because of the tennis and I can see why they did.
November 29, 20159 yr Thank god this dull season is over. Hopefully there will be some promising development over the winter by everyone else and hopefully Merc will get cocky and have a shit winter.
