I don't think I've enjoyed a Brit album so much in....ever  she's come out with the kind of album I am DESPERATE to have Kylie do. I has the classic Britney stamp to it but it's got a modern sound that manages to not sound like she's chasing the trends.

Current faves: Just Like Me (I can't get enough of this, she sounds amazing on it), Do You Want To Come Over?, Man On The Moon, If I'm Dancing and Liar.

Even Private Show is growing.

Regina, I knew you'd come through when Brit needed you the most.

It's great to see lots of positive feedback from typically non-Britney fans.

All the love for this album

Cremey I totally agree with your Revival comparison! There are quite a few parallels between the two albums I think, definitely no bad thing as Revival is one of the best albums of the past 12 months for sure

She WISHES this was as good as Revival. But then that's potentially one of my fave albums EVER and I'm a biased Selena stan :kink:

It's definitely very very very good though, I really do love Femme Fatale but this is definitely her best since Circus, if not Blackout :o I really thought her days of that kind of quality were over and she comes back and surprises with this!

I'm not sure this is as good as Femme Fatale for me yet (I still LOVED that), It's better than Circus and Britney Jean but this is still only 4/5, as much as I am loving it at the moment. It's definately better than Revival though, I find that somewhat overrated. :P
I'm definitely making a shorter album with no Clumsy. Just Luv Me is perfect and then that follows it... 😒🔫

I'd love it if the entire 17 track album was the standard edition rather than having the deluxe tracks added to the end, I think we could've avoided mishaps like the one you just mentioned Cremey. I typed this the other night, think it might flow better:

1. Invitation

2. Make Me...

3. Man On the Moon

4. Just Luv Me

5. Do You Wanna Come Over?

6. Liar

7. Better

8. Slumber Party

9. Just Like Me

10. Love Me Down

11. Hard to Forget Ya

12. Clumsy

13. What You Need

14. Private Show

15. If I'm Dancing

16. Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortes)

17. Coupure électrique

Album sales in the UK are so low right now... 'Glory' to be her first UK number one? Very plausible!
Gosh all this talk and positive reviews about album is killing me...Thursday midnight couldn't come any faster!!

Top 3 for sure, but it looks like bad timing for Brit with Frank and Babs as competitors.

'Revival' is a fantastic album. But, let's not forget she was heavily influenced by 'In The Zone' and Britney's early vibey and mid tempo sound.

Okay, so after a few listens this is my rate for now:

09.0 Invitation

08.5 Make Me (feat. G-Eazy)

07.5 Private Show

06.0 Man On The Moon

10.0 Just Luv Me

07.0 Clumsy

10.0 Do You Wanna Come Over?

07.0 Slumber Party

08.0 Just Like Me

08.5 Love Me Down

09.0 Hard To Get Ya

08.5 Better

11.0 Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortés)

10.0 Liar

08.0 If I'm Dancing

06.0 Coupure Électrique

Remember this rate is coming from a non-Britney fan so the amount of 10's etc. on here would never happen on any other Britney album for me. It is by far my favourite work from her to date. I love how it feels very true to what people love her for whilst also being a bit more experimental and not massively trend chasing ('Better' aside, but that's fine as it works very well in that instance). My highlights may be pretty different from some of the fans e.g. the relatively low scores for songs like 'Man On The Moon' and 'Slumber Party' which seems to be many people's favs. I just find them a little two sickly sweet for me and not as interesting as some of the other tracks, but that's a problem I have found with Britney's discography in general so maybe they are the songs which the fans find the most nostalgic value in because they are so typically her? I don't know.

Anyway I cannot decide between 'Change Your Mind', 'Just Luv Me' and 'Do You Wanna Come Over' for my ultimate favourite. Along with 'Liar' (which is taking 4th place atm I think) they are probably some of my favourite Britney songs of all time already. ON REPEAT.

Never thought I'd get this excited about a Britney album ever (soz to the ''Blackout' is the best album of the last 100 years' people).

I hate the transition from 'Slumber Party' to 'Just Like Me', I would move that too.

'Slumber Party' to 'Love Me Down' would be

DAVIDSON THOSE RATE. I am shocked! Never thought I'd see such scores from you!
I am dying to listen to this. Can't wait to see Tyler's reaction too!!

LESS THAN 60 HOURS UNTIL I EVAPORATE!

First week predictions are in from the insiders at pop justice.

They are predicting 110k (pure sales) based off of pre order numbers. Hoping VMA's and carpool can ramp that up to between 125 - 150k!
