Disagree. Stuff like 'Till It's Gone' may as well have been sung by a robot for all the difference it'd make to the song.

sis no, her voice makes that song!

I think the biggest problem with the "Britney Jean" era was "Work Bitch" for a number of reasons...

Firstly everyone thinks Britney is a lazy popstar, so coming out with a song ordering people to work seems silly.

It should have been called "You Better Work It" (and throw in a remix with Ru Paul :P)

There is ABSOLUTELY no reason why she couldn't have performed on Alan Carr, judging from IABJ she had the routine on lock down, therefore laziness.

OH and referring to the song as "a term of endearment for my gay fans" was fine, until she referred to her album as "a term of endearment". Note Team Britney... learn more vocab.

I don't get it, she sounded much more passionate and engaged on this album? I mean, it came through. You could actually hear a personality and not a robot...
I'm completely with you. Her vocals on 'Passenger' are some of my favourite Britney vocals probably since 'In The Zone'-era. Also I LOVE her vocals on the bridge of 'Now That I Found You', you can hear her voice break slightly and it's wonderful. <3

I think 'Britney Jean' is my 3rd favourite from her now and I'm not ashamed to admit it (due the "well you should be" comments :P - it keeps switching with 'Britney' for 3rd place). I have a completely different feeling about this album than her other latest albums, because it does feel more personal, to me.

Oh yes Passenger is an exception to my comment, I agree it's her best vocal performance since Everytime for me

I don't dislike BJ, in fact it's probably her 4th best album behind Blackout, Circus and Femme Fatale for me but it's just quite lazy and robotic by and large as I said.

If this is robotic, what does that make every album between it and In The Zone? Super robotic I imagine.

This

By robotic I just mean devoid of personality, with the exception of Passenger. Yes the post-ITZ albums were auto tuned loads as well and were hardly an innovation in pop music but there's not a lot of the Britney magic for me personally.
'Chillin' With You' is also one of my favourite Britney vocals in recent times (I still think that track is under appreciated - It's so OIDIA Britney and it's lovely! ). I love how the album is practically split into two halves though (bar 'Perfume' being where it is on the tracklisting). You have the club bangers/EDM-heavy tracks as the first half and then we have the more laid back/more natural sounding, pure pop moments from our Queen.

I really don't get the robotic, devoid of personality, generic, etc etc comments about BJ. Sure, the music may have been nothing groundbreaking, but it was the most personable Britney album we've received in MANY years. I mean it's Britney... she doesn't pour out her heart and soul very often at all. It's pretty obvious by now how private she is so to get some personable Britney-influenced tracks is a treat.

And honestly, without tracks like "Body Ache" and some of the other up-tempos, I'm not sure how much I'd like a completely personal Britney album?

Oh my God, I am not worth

Well thank the lord he said it won't be Britney Jean 2.0. Never again.

BRING IN BLOODSHY+AVANT AND DANJA.

Thanx.

Well thank the lord he said it won't be Britney Jean 2.0. Never again.

Britney Jean is a great album!

It has literally one good song for me

Im beyond caring about Britney's (lack of) promotional efforts. I just want a quality album, and I feel as if we'll only get it if Britney herself is as invested in the project as she once was. Heck, as much of a shambles Circus was, atleast we're able to make a great album by rearranging the track listing.

Britney Jean remains poor.
