Posted June 13, 201510 yr http://i60.tinypic.com/ncsns.jpg So this is actually last week's chart, it's very late, oops. I was away Monday to Wednesday and when I got back I just felt way too lazy to do this. But better late than never, I guess. Anyway: Taylor dethrones Ciara from #1 with "All You Had to Do Was Stay"; last week's #1, "I Bet", falls to #4. "Lean On" blasts into the top 10, giving DJ Snake his second-ever hit in the region after "You Know You Like It". Meanwhile, last week's Free Faller, Grimes' "REALiTi", becomes this week's Climber, all while vaulting into the top ten. This week's Free Faller is Sam Hunt's "Take Your Time", which falls 17 spots to #31. There's no mass clear-out this week like there was last week, but a good quarter of the chart still consists of debuts. The highest of these debuts is Hilary Duff's "Sparks" at #12. Three other songs make their way into the top 20 this week: Tove Lo's "Got Love" moves up to #16, giving the singer her second hit in the upper half; Florrie's "Too Young to Remember" jumps to #17; and Andy Grammer's "Honey, I'm Good." skips to #20 (thank you, every f***ing radio station in a 50-mile radius). Like last week, most of this week's debuts are concentrated in the bottom half of the chart. Tinashe debuts another track from Aquarius with "Cold Sweat" at #24, Florence + the Machine debut right below her with "Ship to Wreck", Kacey Musgraves debuts at #29 with "Biscuits", and The Internet debut at #30 with "Special Affair". And of course, there is the slew of debuts in the bottom quarter that we need not enumerate. June 15, 201510 yr Omg yes at that #1  I probably showed love for it already in a previous chart comment but still, utterly fabulous. 'Bad Blood' on the other hand, dropping so much is fairly surprising! I'm also thrilled to see 'Lean On' with a big climb; it seems to be the 'Chandelier' of 2015 in terms of unanimous Buzzjack approval. Other highlights: 'Overload', 'This Summer's Gonna Hurt', 'Ship To Wreck', 'All Cried Out'. Also yay at Canaan Smith bubbling under! Although 'Love You Like That' isn't a real standout song for me, I saw him live last weekend and was very impressed with him as a performer. Great chart, dhwe! Great flashback as well. Is that your favorite from Breakaway? I'd say all of the singles have been my favorite at one point, but now ten years on it's either the title track or 'Walk Away'.
June 15, 201510 yr Author Hi there :3 REALiTi in the top 10 omg *.*!! Still an absolutely wonderful track, praying her upcoming album has some stuff that's just as good Really liking the new entries from Kacey, The Internet and QT  I've been kind of late with new music this year so that's why it only got to the top 10 just now, but it is indeed wonderful *.* And re: the new entries, that Internet track especially is such a gem! Great chart Ty for commenting! Omg yes at that #1  I probably showed love for it already in a previous chart comment but still, utterly fabulous. And I think I still prefer the album version of "Bad Blood" to the remix and that's why it's dropping, but it shouldn't fall out of the chart completely.Re: "Lean On" – I actually thought it was really overrated at first, especially compared to Diplo's and DJ Snake's other current singles ("Where Are Ü Now" and "You Know You Like It"), but it definitely grew on me!Re: Canaan Smith – I kind of happened upon "Love You Like That" by chance but it didn't leave much of an impression on me tbh :(Re: Breakaway – Yeah, I've been revisiting Breakway-era Kelly recently, esp. now that it's been ten (:o) years. I've actually always kind of under-appreciated "Behind These Hazel Eyes", and I only recently realized how great of a song it really is. It's a popular choice but I'd say "Since U Been Gone" was always my fave, followed by the title track. But the title track is the one that takes me back instantly to '04 *.* Edited June 15, 201510 yr by dhwe
