7 - Smile (7.69)

Queens of the night: 10 (Ultraviolence1989, Acidburn, Liam, Slick, troublepink, Josh.)

It's not fair and I think you're really mean: -1 (Fgiboy2511), 0 (mr_aly), 2 (rob_s)

I needn't say anything about this song. 'Smile' is Lily's debut single (not counting the limited 7" release of 'LDN'), it introduced her to the world, went straight to number one and was her most successful single until 'The Fear' came out, which I think was in turn surpassed by 'Somewhere Only We Know', fortunately or not.

6 - F**k You (7.94)

Queens of the night: 11 (american oxygen.), 10 (Ultraviolence1989, Joe., 'Dan, andreweenor, Liam, Nick F1, Dobbo, Fgiboy2511, troublepink)

It's not fair and I think you're really mean: -1 (DJHazey, ketalina)

Now I can't remember for sure if this was ever properly released in the UK (I think it had a digital EP?), but what I know is that it managed to sell over 100k copies in the UK despite only peaking at 104! Astonishing. 'F**k You' was Lily's third international single from INMIY. It is her third Billboard hit and managed to go Gold in 6 countries according to the much reliable Wikipedia. Unfortunately, we never got a proper video with Lily on it, but the one we did get is a bit fun and better than nothing, I suppose.

5 - Not Fair (8.16)

Queens of the night: 11 (rob_s, Davidson), 10 (Ultraviolence1989, Joe., Nick F1, DJHazey, Aaron.)

It's not fair and I think you're really mean: -1 (mr_aly), 4 (Jonjo)

Another one of Lily's biggest hits, 'Not Fair' ends up fifth in this rate and thus matches its peak in the UK Singles Chart. The 7" picture disc is accompanied by one of my favourite b-sides, 'Why'. Check it out if you haven't!

4 - 22 (8.19)

Queens of the night: 11 (andreweenor, Josh.), 10 (Ultraviolence1989, Mackenzie, Heezus Froot, Noahspike)

It's not fair and I think you're really mean: 4 (Fgiboy2511), 5 (Aaron.)

Words cannot express the love I feel for this song. It's in my top 5 all time favourite Lily songs and one of five INMIY tracks I used to OBSESS over and have on repeat for days, the others being Everyone's at It, The Fear, Back to the Start and He Wasn't There. What a lot of people don't know is that it was released in France as a duet with French singer-songwriter Ours and it's rather cute.

"True Love" is an okay song, just doesn't stand as one of my faves from the ever amazing Pink, but Lily's vocals were quite a nice surprise though. "Our Time" I just don't like, and find it way too bland and boring, it's chart performance wasn't a surprise to be honest. "Littlest Things" I do like, very underrated Lily classic, but seems forgotten now, compared to the other hits from her first album.

"22" and "f*** You" to drop next I think.

3 - LDN (8.22)

Queens of the night: 11 (Chez Wombat), 10 (Ultraviolence1989, JosephStyles, Acidburn, Mackenzie, Liam, Heezus Froot, Davidson, Josh.)

It's not fair and I think you're really mean: 0 (rob_s), 4.5 (Fgiboy2511), 5 (Aaron.)

At number three we have the highest rated single from 'Alright, Still' and well deserved, as it's far better than Smile, imo. LDN *only* made number 6 in the UK Charts, despite the hype surrounding Lily and the success of her album.

2 - Hard Out Here (8.55)

Queens of the night: 11 (JosephStyles, Acidburn, Heezus Froot, Jack), 10 (Ultraviolence1989, Joe., rob_s, Liаm, american oxygen., Slick, AaronTM, DJHazey, Aaron.)

It's not fair and I think you're really mean: -1 (Griff), 1 (Chez Wombat)

I'm so happy for the love this song gets. 'Hard Out Here' may not have managed to dethrone Queen 'The Fear', but it remains just as brilliant. Its release marked probably the biggest injustice of 2014. A lot of people, including myself, expected it to replace 'Somewhere Only We Know' at number one, but only a few people bought it and it barely managed to peak at nine.

1 - The Fear (9.94) :winner:

Queens of the night: EVERYONE (eight 11s, seventeen 10s, a few 9s and 9.5s, a couple of 8s and a 7.5) :funky:

It's not fair and I think you're really mean: NO ONE

'The Fear' continues its reign since 2009 as the best Lily Allen song with an impressive average score of 9.94, albeit a tad lower than last year's rate, hosted by Joseph, where it got a 10.08 (!!!). The song was originally put up on Lily's Myspace in April 2008, under the title 'I Don't Know' and until its official premiere in December, it already had over 400 plays on my last.fm. To this date it remains my most played song in over 7 years, not even including the hundreds of times I've watched the near-perfect video.

The perfect top 3 there, even if I'd personally have swapped the top 2, I can't complain  Thanks for hosting this, Heezus, it's interesting to compare it to the rate I did!

Thanks for hosting this Heezus, perfect top 2

Remember watching the fear video for the first time on freshly squeezed at like 7am and I was instantly in love, still my favourite Lily track

Oh good, relieved I'm not the only one who loathes Hard Out Here. I'm very surprised to see LDN in the top three, but it's a nice surprise! And The Fear is of course the deserved winner. Great job hosting this, Heezus!

What a brilliant top 3, "LDN" is definitely one of Lily's best, and stands as one of my faves from her. So catchy and fun and at the time thought it was gonna be a contender for the #1 spot, but that didn't happen and peaked at #6 which isn't too shabby. Would have been better if it made top 5 though.

So glad that "Hard Out There" has got some love, finishing at #2 is a brilliant result, and what a travesty that it got cruelly overshadowed by the sub par "Somewhere Only We Know", at least it went top 10 which is something though, but didn't deserve to drop out so fast like it did, and the awful "Air Balloon" charted higher and had a better run, which is such a shame.

"The Fear" wow what an average and looks like the clear winner from the start, definitely in my personal top 5 Lily faves. Thanks for hosting this rate and the results were a blast.
