I always download them as I hate when the tracks join onto each other so I obviously downloaded this one

  • I thought Ministry Of Sound Annual was over but there is gonna be an Annual 2026 and it’s due for release on 28th November https://www.amazon.co.uk/B0FZL1VYDX

  • Great news, and I love the cover. Glad they are persisting with these as it's a good way to fill the dance song gaps from the year.

A bit of a markup for The Annual 2025 this year at £14.99, I'll buy it anyway as I've got all of them since about 2002 on CD. It was better value back then as for many years they'd throw in either a third disc or a DVD of the big music videos.

Quite disappointed that Amazon hasn't got Autorip on it like the last few years though, as that used to be the only cost effective way to get the full mixes and the individual unmixed tracks. So if I want the unmixed tracks I've now got to buy the download again on iTunes, while people who download can only get the full continuous mixes if they buy the CD (they used to be available as two separate long tracks at the end).

This has now been rectified, for some reason the Amazon download version only came out today but Autorip is now available.

So if you buy the CD on there for £14.99 you do now have access to downloaded all of the individual unmixed files, as well as the two long mixes (one for each CD) as separate downloads too.

It’s also nice like the others that they included hits on there that Now chose not to include on their albums. Now we know that they don’t appear not because of licensing but because they choose not to include them. Shame they didn’t include the NOTION remix of The Days on Now 120 as that was the version that helped the song become a hit

Should be called Annual 2025 mk2 though as all of the songs are from this year and have already peaked in the club circuit and are very unlikely to be hits next year.

They're just continuing tradition with the year numbers in the name though admittedly it's harder for them to predict future big hitters given the age of streaming so it's more of a retrospective than anything else.
