Clever them releasing to iTunes. No time to waste with a Christmas album and also as Regina said the only way to promote this album is to perform the whole range of songs, the obvious re records and the relatively creative side. It will all be over Boxing Day. Just over three weeks away :o

I'd love to see a CD single released with the everyday like Christmas remix and 7th heaven mixes of 100 degrees.

Every Day;s Like Christmas Peaked at 38 on UK iTunes..... around all the other Xmas songs.....

 

needs streaming to start and sales to cross over to tomorrow's new chart week......

It slipped to 38 then up to 36... it over took one of Mariah's 2 All I Need versions but then got overtaken. It needs to push on.... unfortunately without radio play it doesn't usually and gets to this 35-55 level then slumps as she cant maintain momentum.... if it can hold til her promo tomorrow around the top 50 then it could push on ... I am sure C Evans will ask about this song tomorrow on radio 2 and TFI.... Chris Martin who wrote it is also on radio 2 tomorrow morning so hopefully a mention.....

 

needs a video though..... even if a simple one........

Releasing it midweek, was not the celeverest of moves. Its sales (for the few there are) will be split over 2 weeks, likely costing Kylie a chart placing.

It reminds me of when they did that for 'Right Here, Right Now' and it didn't even chart because of it, but I get the feeling they're not pushing for this to be its peak week here.

No time to waste, better they released this immediately.

 

The U.K. promo starts tomorrow and the song is already showing up on the download charts. So much easier to find. If it has already peaked it was never going to chart high.

 

 

I saw an advert for the album half an hour ago, very polished looking.

Yes and good to see Tesco sponsoring the Album TV advert etc hopefully they will promote better in shops now too.

 

The slip may come from now as it is this time yesterday that sales picked up on Every Day Is Christmas so it may drop to around 45 by tomorrow morning from its current 38, hopefully not though.... needs some promo on Radio 2 tomorrow morning on Chris Evans, then again on TFI. If it starts the week well then it may get picked up by casuals.

cant see the album sadly going any higher that its opening week.... may not even re-enter the top 20 this year..... another 5-6 albums new releases tomorrow will sell more plus so many big acts selling many more than her and will continue to do so.... hoping she can go top 20 again but not sure it will happen... will be happy if it goes Silver this campaign.

Chris Evans is really selling it, playing the OY duet and saying how Christmassy it is. Kylie came in live towards the end and added a beautiful harmony....Kate Garraway on GMB talking about the new remix with PWL in detail, she loves Kylie too.
