I am thinking 120k plus. She could be on for 30k plus this week if the positions hold up. 20k seems certain. The Tesco promo will surely pick up much more casual sales and she had great promo Friday, with RV on Tuesday to add a new boost.

 

If she averages 30k the next three weeks she will make 120k. Seems more than achievable.

 

Potentially very large sales, top prediction would be 200k. Even that isn't a crazy amount but I can't see the average sale the next 3 weeks being close to 60k. Hard to gauge with a Christmas album. Buble released his after the gigantic Crazy Love and achieved gigantic success and still is doing well each year. Kylie has longevity on her side and for once this is a crossover factor with a seasonal release. Otherwise they don't really do that well.

 

The first mid weeks tomorrow will really help us see how effective the promo and tesco deal is on numbers bought.

 

I am not sure she is selling much else from Tesco and downloads. but I am hoping sales are good. you can never second guess..

 

Royal Variety is good but she doesn't come on stage and say this is from Kylie Xmas album etc... so may not do her much

Good result in Aussie. A bit more steady in Ireland on week 3, it drops just 4 places to number 51, so far its 14-47-51, i hope it can climb this week.

 

I'm wondering in the UK have many people who usually wouldn't buy a Kylie album bought this one. I know there is no way of finding out but i would love to know if she got many cross over sales. Also if she did manage some cross over sales i wonder will any of them have interest in future Kylie releases.

 

Kylie Christmas does show when the effort is put in to promote an album she can do ok. I really feel if Kylie can come up with good material for her next album and have at least 2 strong singles she could sell reasonably well with a new album. Kiss Me Once completely lacked singe potential and overall i think its a weak album that really went nowhere, it wasn't as good as any of her previous releases and wasn't different enough to stand out. While Kylie Christmas is nothing special to me ( as in general i dont like these type of albums) The next album is very important to get right. Both Kiss me Once and Christmas are not albums i really enjoy and they will really only be albums to keep my collection complete rather than albums i listen to. Id love to genuinely love her next album, i miss buying a Kylie album and loving it. Thankfully i love enough of her back catalogue to whip out and play to remind me why i am a Kylie fan for so many years.

 

 

I think she has quite a few fans.... but she needs to visible and have the right 'sound' to crab their attention. Luckily this Xmas album is pleasant and she is getting the promo and build up in the next few weeks. Its a very competitive market out there but she is doing ok

Kylie won't sell 120k by Christmas. She only sold 12k last week. She may well beat her best yet of 15k this week but I suspect the album will sell between 80-100k.

KC is #13 in today's midweek and sold 11k in the last 3 days, up 112% on last week.

Without the Tesco deal perhaps but she has every chance. As we are seeing, 11k in three days is a much stronger number, her positions across all retailers are at least equal to release week and sales across the board are way higher.

 

Of course she may drop back Mon-Thursday, was hoping a bit better than 11k but 9k over the next 4 days makes 20k likely - and sales are more than likely going to keep creeping up if the promo keeps her top 15/20 this next three weeks. Plus Christmas is on a Friday so there will be some extra sales the 4th week.

The Tesco offer in on until the 24th December :)

There is no proper single though and X-factor hasn't even given decent boosts to acts more fitting in with their target market. It'd be totally pointless.

 

I also doubt they'd film her Strictly performance a full week before it's meant to be done. She lives in London so it's not much of a problem for her to pop along on

Saturday.

Her promo really is so on point though, I'd be so pleased if one of my favs managed this promo for Q4, I really don't think there's any point longing for something that clearly isn't going to happen.
