Abbey Roads Session had no real single to it despite Flower being sent to radio and having a video, she performed a range of different songs on it and it did really

well. She's doing the same thing for this album.

She's hardly gonna recite the whole tracklist on every promo spot is she? It's a Christmad album and she's showing that there are old classics, lesser known ones and new songs.

I'm well aware of what she is doing and about Abbey Road etc... I have been following this woman since 1987....... the whole way.... + The Abbey Road was her songs already well known to most of the population so anything she sang she was going to do well with

but this is an Xmas album with limited shelf life per year and she has songs which are being plugged all over the place... Only You, Every Days Like Xmas etc and she isn't promoting these.. She could have had top 40 hit easily with Only You and Every Day's Like Xmas... even without her streaming success.... and this would have also promoted the album and got sales.... She has enough promo slots to fit in extra songs etc......

Anyway she is making her money from concert, merchandise etc. The Kylie Brand sells very well without even the music so I am guessing she isn't bothered.

Most of the songs on the album are well known too.

There's nothing to suggest that she'd go top 40, the only christmas songs to do so are from names who are bigger than Kylie is now and ones that have been around

for a while. The album is doing well considering she is no longer a big name or seller anymore. She struggled to get a hit from a new song from a normal album and

so would struggle even more with a Christmas one.

That's where I beg to differ when she has all these big promo slots... it would not take much to shift 15k of an Xmas song if good and performed to 10,000,000 viewers over Xmas......

The album is doing well but missing that top 10 on release week was also a mistake from her record company...... they could easily have got it in that top 10..... anyway lets see hopefully it is going to pull in 100k of sales before Xmas finishes....

and she can always use the concert, songs to re-promote/re-package for Xmas 2016...

I am just looking forward to watching Kylie with David Beckham on Friday on G Norton..... though they will probably record on different days grrrrrr..

I hope Kylie gets some Text Santa promo this year...... her Xmas tree decorations thing only got 5 minutes on This Morning........

Parlophone haven't done anything right for her in years, it's her fault for going back to them to release the album with them.

For someone in her position, to even get top 20 and sell what she has is a miracle, let's not pretend she could have done better.

The whole Stock Aitken & Waterman remix also a mess..... I mean it can go all the way up to 38 on UK ITunes.... could have easily helped that single to kick on with a Friday release but do it on a Wednesday and say they specially asked to do it etc and yet she hasn't mentioned it once in any interview etc on radio / TV

Pretty damn pointless....

don't forget Kylie on Desert Island Discs at 11.15am-12 tomorrow and then Magic FM early evening a special show with Kylie Minogue picking her favourite festive songs and playing her album

Actually I am ok with Warm This Winter on Xfactor..... just a little short but it will go nicely with a quick dance from the stars and the orchestra will sound good with this.....

I just got round to watching the royal variety show. I enjoyed Kylie;s performance alot more than i thought would.

....as Regina has said better perform a mixture of tracks. Strictly is a variety style show....Warm this Winter is not my fave but it does fit in with a nice dance routine by the professionals. My friend, who still hasn't clarified ANYTHING, did suggest she was fantastic but didn't know the song...seems strange but I guess until that other singer released it a few years ago and it was on a loop on the co op advert it was relatively unknown.

The promo seems to all fit in nicely. Range of tracks, range of channels. Radio and TV. Concert. Appearances. Tesco tie in throughout December. Download flash sales. We can't really ask for anything more.

Moaning about Wednesday release dates is pointless. The remix might have charted in the top 100 at an absolute push. It really is all about the album maintaining a good position in between the promo.

Santa Baby up to 81st on Spotify. A big jump today with over 160,000 streams worldwide yesterday. There is a real chance we could see it in the Official top 100 this coming Friday as it is 13th on Google Play with its 19p price tag. and been popping in and out of 175-230 range on ITunes all week and plenty more versions collecting sales, including a 59p version on popular Xmas album Christmas The Collection

Deluxe ITunes Album still creeping up.... 21st now with 10 various/double copies ahead of her... standard 45th with again plenty of compilations ahead...

Tesco still 6th best seller which is great.

Lets hope today's radio/TV promo does the job today......

Interesting the Every Days Like Xmas SAW remix is 9th on the HMV download chart

Jesus christ are you EVER satisfied with anything? It was likely the backing track since she was being flung around and moving around.

I am very critical.

I liked it a lot. Nice use of red and very Xmassy put people in the mood.

Just watched it again and she did sing some of it live...

She looks more confident when singing live 100% and not as forced

She DID sing it live, just with a backing track.

Why can't you just enjoy the performance for what it was and not worry so much about whether or not the album or songs climb on itunes? You're gonna stress yourself

into an early grave at this rate.

I am enjoying it... I always enjoy it....

I just like facts, figures and analysing stuff.... I aint stressing.....

She sang it live...it was recorded twice according to my friend who was there. I guess they took one vocal and played it over an edited version of the two recordings. My friend didn't understand why it was recorded twice, she must have missed Kylie catching her shoe in the dress after the lift.

She looked fabulous and the song worked well.

Sadly the performance hasn't done much for sales of the album but still holding up well at 22 and 34 at the moment... on ITunes, hopefully it remains steady in the charts this week, but not sure it will be in the top 20 in tomorrow's midweeks..... may not even be in top 25... but lets hope I am very wrong

Good job though and nice to see Kylie looking so good.

Really needs to do some flash sales on downloads again this week.

Warm this Winter is 679 on UK ITunes and not doing much either.

Next promo slot is Thursday on Sky Arts - The RAH concert.... not sure many non-Kylie fans will tune in......

Best promo slot looks to be G Norton on Friday with repeat on Monday straight after the John Bishop Xmas Show with Kylie again :)
