The only people who seem to dwell on it missing the top 10 are people too obsessed with either wanting her to fail or with her success these days. Most people can simply

enjoy the album for what it is and the performances for what they are - light hearted fun.

The media pick up on it..... it has had very poor reviews except for Rolling Stone Magazine..... therefore she needs to prove them wrong with sales...... especially after KMO.....

The overuse of Sasse everywhere is quite cringeworthy.... he is a lapdog ... keep it private ..... - and I am a big fan so god knows what non fans think lol

She is long past the point of needing to prove anything. Over 30 years in the public eye and still able to sell albums.

They'll think she's in love and happy. Which she is.

We would all love it to do better but then again it could have sank without trace after week one.

Sales apart from Adele and the very top are now much lower. Little Mix are riding a popularity crest, mainstay towards the top of the albums chart and are on 225k so far this year. Even if she had hung around the top ten she would probably only clear 200-250k by the year end. Not that much more than the 100k-120k she is likely going to sell.

The promo has worked for her - by the end of this, her 5th week, she will be around the total sales of KMO. This album will easily outsell it and should pick up a few thousand each year for a few years.

Good to see some purchases on Irish ITunes today. must have been a little bit of radio promo
Awww can we keep SmileyKylie please....................til january

I see Kylie and Sasse sang together at the Somerset pub gig...........

they will be releasing an album next.... -_-

Any updated midweeks news? Hopefully will stay top 25.

doubtful.... CD out of stock in a lot of places and not being replaced.......

downloads sinking too....

the only good news is Every Day's Like Christmas is now up to 410th on UK ITunes... if they could just get it a little higher before Friday and then she sings it on G Norton on Friday then she could get a minor hit ie. top 75

No chance of that, let's be realistic here.

I know I am just hungover and clinging to some Xmas hope....

I think she may sing German Bold Italic on G Norton.... in full Xmas Kimono

Haha, "here with an acoustic version of one of her most loved hits, GBI, Kylie with, and we can't believe he made it, Towa Tei".......

The Overtones reduce their ITunes Xmas album to 5.99 and zooms to 6 in the list.... Buble 7th..... Kylie 39th and 42nd at 10.99 still zzzzzz
I wouldn't care too much for those 2 albums: The Overtones sells nowhere near as good as Kylie (peak on the official chart #24 and dropped to #37 last week) and Bublé's Christmas album is like Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You in the singles chart. It comes back every Christmas to the chart :D

What I mean is..... Kylie Xmas is priced way too high in the market both downloads and CDs.....

Rod Stewart 3.99 Xmas album is another... I know not new but people looking for an Xmas album casually could easily snap this up or a compilation for 4.99 rather than 10.99 for a Kylie download.....

She has 1 week to sell as many as she can but it seems she has made her money from the concert, merchandise and is now winding down for Xmas.

I don't really see a big problem with the price to be honest. They don't want to sell bucketloads and make loss, but sell a decent amount and also make some win out of it. And the CD sells quite good imo. Afterall music is not just about entertaining but also a business like it or not.

And I don't think it would be a good idea to reduce the price of the download as it would stop people buying the CD.

What CD? The only place it is selling is at Tesco as a £5 deal....... still cheaper than download.

Website not had it available for a week now, nor the Vinyl... they obviously not re-stocking it

HMV many of them to not have either and not re-stocking......

Would you rather sell 100 x 7.99 or 10 x 9.99? Its not difficult. She is losing sales from casual buyers

I am not saying sell it very cheap.... just at a small discount to its usual price...... She gained great momentum last week and gone backwards this week ..

if it was a normal album I wouldn't mind but its an Xmas album with limited time frame per year......

the only ITunes top 200 she is in is UK, Australia, Greece, Macau, Laos, Guatamala, Vietnam, Belgium and UAE..... although not a massive name in Europe if it was priced competitively then she could easily sell more.

Anyway I keep ranting about it and am being proved right but I must stop as I am wasting my breathe... Like I said money has been collected from concert and merchandise.

Every Days Like Christmas now up to 392nd on ITunes......

OMG calm down, it's not a life or death question ...

"Would you rather sell 100 x 7.99 or 10 x 9.99?"

Let me ask you a very simple question: If producing the album costs £8.30, which out of the two would you prefer? Making a loss of £31.00 or a win of £16.90?

This is not hard to tell. And if you come up with the thing that Tesco is selling for £5, it's Tesco's loss, not Kylie's. Also if iTunes don't want to reduce the album is not entirely Kylie's or rather her labels fault, but Apple doesn't want it.

BTW reducing the price wouldn't cause a 100% increase in sales.

As much as I want too that the album sells more I don't think it is a bad result she's doing to be honest. I'm pretty curious how high her sales would be this week. I can imagine she has steady sales while dropping some positions.

How do you know the CD is out of stock everywhere? Are you touring around the country?

I am calm

not saying it would sell 100% more but downloads maybe 5.99 and 7.99 instead of 8.99 and 10.99 would add sales. I am sure she would still be making a profit at those prices etc and some sales flashes are what I am saying..... not permanent cheap, although in last week I think volume could be good.

Also I am sure CD out of stock on website etc as they know they cannot ship in time for Xmas and therefore not bothering.....

Its all about in shop sales and downloads now... hence a little discounting could work well......

I know because I visit a lot of shops and have friends who do the same.....
